What if we told you your social posts have been doing WAY more for your Google presence than you thought? And now there’s proof.
Until very recently, the answer to: “Are people discovering our social content through Google?” was basically: 🤷
Social content has been appearing in Google Search for years, but if those posts lived on Instagram, TikTok, X or YouTube, brands had very little visibility into what happened once Search entered the picture.
Google has now changed that with platform properties in Search Console.
You can see which social posts are earning impressions and clicks through Google, which search queries are leading people there, top-performing content, and how that traffic changes over time.
In other words? Another attribution black hole eliminated.
More importantly, it gives brands a new way to understand how social, content and search are actually working together – then feed those learnings straight back into strategy.
