We have been a little quiet on socials lately but we are still here!

We’ve contributed an article to which has come out today. It’s an overview of the different types of flexible working, and some of the pros and cons for each.

I’ve also been doing some reflection of this over the break, and in particular the pros and cons between working part time Vs full time.

Do you have personal insight into this topic? Have you worked full time and part time — and which did you prefer?

Please drop a 👍 below if you are interested in understanding more on this topic.

I will drop the link to the featured article into my bio. 🙏

Welcome back to everyone in the new year!

I’m in Melbourne absolutely cooking in my office today!

How was your break — if you had one? Did you get one? Was it long enough? (It never is!) Let me know in the comments below!

A wee affirmation attached from the lovely

As we lead into the new year, we wish a bright and beautiful one to all. “You have only just scratched the surface of what you are capable of, there are decades of victories ahead of you.” Whatever that means to you- this is your victory. Quote from

We are taking a break this year over Christmas and New Year, as I hope you all are too.

Our Christmas close down this year will be from Thursday 23 December, through to Monday 10th of January.

We will have very limited availability during this time.

Of course being a small business, if you need urgent help with a job application and are stuck, you can reach out and if we can make it happen for you, we will.

We look forward to seeing you back in the New Year.

Merry Christmas everyone!

Karen

I have done a little bit of a blog post on how you can use the different types of flexible working to gain more time —
I will link this in my bio.

It’s a quick run through on all the different types of flexible working and how they can help you!

There are so many ways of working flexibly but I’ve covered the most popular ones.

If you’re keen to understand how each type can benefit you next year, or you’re considering putting in an application, check it out in the bio or tag someone who needs to read this. :-)

Who else loves a theme? (I do!)

I will be sharing content on these two topics in November and December.

November: Working mums returning to work

December: The great resign. We’ve all heard about it, but what’s interesting is that there are also some serious skills shortages out there too. So we’ve got a great resign, but we’ve also got a candidate short market, and that means a possible chance for salaries to lift up as well and for increased pressure on employers to offer great benefits.

I’ll share some insights around this and generally around the job search process.

What do you think of the great resign? Which employers will be the winners of the best talent? Please share any thoughts in the comments!
