100kg x 4 on Deads
Little rusty but still solid I’d say :)

Really didn’t even feel like doing legs but I did anyways. No matter what you do, if you want achieve something meaningful to you, you need to make sure you show up everyday. Hold yourself accountable! Some times you feel like you could take a day off but it’s almost never worth it. Try commit to a schedule and don’t bend your own rules. If you commit to 4 days of training, don’t come in 3 times ,come in 4 days a week. Thanks guys!

What does it really mean to be healthy?

I see a lot of people who are unhappy when they try to get lean or gain muscle. Sometimes people starve themselves to get physical fit. Some people claim to not care about their physical appearance and want to enjoy whatever food they want. But which one is truely ā€œhealthyā€

The answer is you need both to live a truly healthy life.

You need to work to improve yourself whilst still enjoying the process. That’s what it’s all about

Eat less, eat less, eat less. It’s that simple. If you want to lose fat you need to be in a caloric deficit, there’s no such thing as a bad food. Even the deadliest chemical is okay in moderation! Clean diets are often not enjoyable and after people finish a clean diet they go back to eating s**t. Eating flexibly in caloric deficit will help you lose so much more weight in the long term.

One of my favourite glute exercises to do at home and in the gym!

If you have a resistance band or a barbell it makes this exercise a lot better. Obviously if you use a body weight, a light band or light weights try to do more reps then you usually would. But ideally try to go for the 8-12 range if you have a good amount of resistance.

When I do hip thrusts I like to pause at the top for a few seconds squeezing the glutes hard and then drop slowly for 2-3 seconds. I also forgot to mention in the video that is a good idea to keep your knees pointing out and not letting your them cave in, it’ll help with the tension!

I get a lot of people ask me how to improve their sleep. I’ve listed a few tips in the post that aren’t so much common knowledge and if you adopt these tips they’ll definitely help with your sleep.

Firstly I will say quality is very important when we go to sleep. In another post I might chat about sleep cycles but pretty much subconsciously we can disturb our sleep if we use blue light before sleep or ingest caffeine before sleep. It will affect how fast you fall asleep and the quality so take that into consideration.

What’s I found very interesting while researching this is that even in you consume caffeine 6 hours before sleep it still affects your quality of sleep!

If your goal is to loss weight, gain muscle or just stay health try sleep a minimum 6-8 hours a day because it helps you physically and mentally recover so much.

Just want to make this post to shout out my man .lovejoy

As you can see in this video he’s deadlifting 100kg which is a huge achievement in itself but in this next bit of this caption I’m going to tell you why brads great.

Firstly his work ethic is ridiculous he hasn’t missed a single day of weight training since we started. He trains 4 days a week weight training, rides his bike to and from work, goes on crazy cycles and goes for stupidly long walks on stupidly big hills.

Every PT session we have together he always puts in 110% as well which admire. He’s achieve so much in such little time and he’s gonna keep seeing more and more results if he keeps it up.

He’s an absolute beast and he’s just gonna keep on getting better and working harder! šŸ’ŖšŸ¼
