NSW Government's 2023-24 Budget has been unveiled, with a whopping $3.9 billion being invested in clean energy, pushing towards renewables.
🔋 NSW is charging ahead with plans to meet its emissions reduction targets - 50% by 2030, and net-zero by 2050!
💡 This budget will put the Energy Roadmap back on track after a 12-year rollercoaster of privatisation and delays.
🔌 $1.8 billion is earmarked to transmit and store energy across the state! The future is electric!
💡 $1 billion will launch an Energy Security Corporation, focusing on storage projects like pumped hydro and community batteries!
🌐 $804 million is turbocharging the Transmission Acceleration Facility, connecting Renewable Energy Zones to the grid sooner!
💰 $1.3 billion in energy rebates and relief for households and small businesses!
🚙 $350 million for regional development and $263 million to supercharge electric vehicle adoption! We're hitting the road to a cleaner, brighter future.
