I started to feel the overload of my life. The full time (plus some) career, two young kids who wanted more from me (actual time!), and family who I hardly saw (my mom ended up crying on the phone when she reminded me I hadn’t called her in over a week… why was I not present!)

I was drowning in the so called “successful” life I had carved out for myself.

Something had to change – as I say to my kids, “it’s time to hit the reset button”.

So I gathered my courage to walk away from all that was comfortable, to throw out my own preconceived notions of success and status in order to find a new way.

One big change I’ve made is joining an online educational platform that helps people learn how to build their personal brand online, and create real income in the process. With flexibility, and on your terms. You can start it as a side gig and pretty quickly it can grow into your own lucrative business venture... It’s up to you!

But most importantly, you will be joining my tribe. Which means I have your back, and totally step into the role as your mentor and business coach… supported by a truly amazing global community and world-class training.

So what do you need to commit to?

Well, you need to be showing up, and you need to be bringing your determination, passion and commitment to the process to the table. Success requires putting in the work and that work will come down to you and how much you want to make change happen!

Woman are not equal when it comes to rights, opportunity and social status.

International women’s day is today. It’s a focal point in the movement for women’s rights that started in 1909.

Today, 70 per cent of the world’s extreme poor are women. Children account for 44 per cent of these but there are 105 girls for every 100 boys living in extreme poverty.

There still are barriers in many countries for women to vote; politically motivated r**e and other forms of sexual violence, preventing them from getting to the polling booths. In the last Pakistan election (2013) less than 10 per cent of women could vote.

It was only in 2015 that women in Saudi Arabia were given voting rights. But they still can’t open bank accounts today!

In Australia, the gender pay gap has remained relatively steady hovering between 16 and 19 per cent, despite figures that show women are more educated (university degree qualified). Men typically work higher paying jobs on average and only 7 per of all women earn in excess of $100k per annum compared with 17.5 per cent of male taxpayers (based on ATO data). That difference is huge!

Our boardrooms and parliaments are dominated by men. Women are in the vast majority when it comes to sexual abuse and violence.

We have a long way to go to be truly EQUAL. So please on this day reflect on what you can do to make a difference, and go out of your way to support a sister!!! In whatever way makes her feel more EQUAL!
