For those locals interested in battery storage this event is on next week.
Battery storage information night - Tuesday August 29th at Kernot Hall!
Want to learn more about the pros and cons of battery storage for your home? Latrobe City Council invites you to attend a FREE information evening on Tuesday August 29th, at Kernot Hall in Morwell.
With the home battery storage market changing almost daily, we have been inundated with enquiries around the options that are available. We have always take a realistic and truthful approach to explaining how battery storage might work for homes, and tempering some of the hype that has been common in the market.
So we are looking forward to presenting our analysis of the market, along with experts from Selectronic and Tesla. There will also be a pair of Tesla electric vehicles on the night, and an explanation of how the booming EV market will impact on home solar and battery storage solutions.
We will be addressing some of the common questions:
- Does battery storage make financial sense?
- Can I easily add battery storage to my solar power system?
- What are the different types of battery technology available?
- Is it better to install a battery now and start saving on your bills, or wait for technology/pricing to improve?
- How do the recent changes in solar feed-in tariffs affect battery storage?
- How is new technology affecting the benefits of battery storage?
- Can I eventually go 'off the grid'?
