PMLSC also thanks Sam Dwyer from Hampton Life Saving Club & Life Saving Victoria for her attendance at the AGM and her role as Returning Officer.

As season 2026/2027 fast approaches we all look forward to seeing you on the beach 🏖 from mid November through to Mid April.

Our clubhouse is currently having the internal toilets and showers upgraded from a joint State & Local Government initiative from Grant Funds received for PMLSC being LSV Club of the Year 2022. These facilities will be open for the new season.

Accessible Beaches - Winter Trial ❄️

We’re trialling accessible beach matting at Port Melbourne Beach from July to November!

The matting is designed to provide a firm, portable pathway along the sand to make the beach easier to access for people using wheelchairs, mobility aids, prams and for anyone who may find walking on soft sand challenging.

The matting will be available every day except for Monday nights and Tuesday mornings, to allow for the beach tractor clean.

What an amazing way to wrap up the LSV Pool Competition season! 🏊💙

What an incredible day for our team at the State Titles at Geelong Grammar!

Every competitor should be so proud of the way you represented our club throughout the season. Your teamwork, camaraderie, determination, and sportsmanship truly reflect what junior sport is all about.

It has been fantastic to watch every athlete grow in confidence and improve their skills over the course of the season. That hard work certainly paid off today, with outstanding results both individually and as a team:

This weekend, Port Melbourne Life Saving Club proudly hosted the Silver Medallion Patrol Captain’s Course.
A huge thank you to Joe from Point Lonsdale for travelling to Port Melbourne and delivering an outstanding weekend of training. It was fantastic to have clubs from across Victoria come together, including Venus Bay, Mordialloc Life Saving Port Melbourne Life Saving ClubSandringham, Bon@ Beach, Aspendale, St Kilda and Port Melbourne.
A special thank you also goes to Brett Armstrong for your assistance and support throughout the weekend.
Congratulations to Andrew Canet on becoming a facilitator for the Silver Medallion Patrol Captain’s Course. This is a fantastic achievement and a great asset to our club and the wider lifesaving community.
Finally, congratulations to all 11 candidates on successfully completing and passing the course. Your commitment to developing your leadership and patrol-captain skills will strengthen lifesaving efforts across our beaches.
Well done to everyone involved in making the weekend such a success!
