Aztech Cutting Solutions

Aztech Cutting Solutions Australia’s waterjet cutting specialists. 18+ years handling complex jobs across Victoria. Real machinery. Real capability.

↓ Send us your next challenge

Waterjet cutting is one of the world's most versatile and accurate cutting processes out there. Using only high pressure water mixed with a fine abrasive, we are able to cut through almost any material up to 150mm thick. As this is a cold cutting process, there is not heat effected area's or distortion of materials. We are able to minimize material wasted, as we are able to nest parts closer toget

her than conventional laser and plasma cutting processes. Not only do we cater for your one off prototyping jobs, we can also handle large production runs. We pride ourselves on maintaining the highest quality standards and having a quick turnaround time, as we are very aware that time is money. Glass and brass, in the same job.

Handled in-house.
Cut on the same machine.

No handoffs. No tolerance stacking. No surprises at install.

Just clean, repeatable results where it counts.

When the design gets clever, the process has to follow.

Send through your next job.

One workshop.
Very different personalities.

Foam. Tile. Bisalloy. Steel.
Some delicate. Some stubborn. Some that absolutely punish the wrong cutting method.

This week’s mix is a good reminder that capability isn’t about one material or one machine. It’s knowing what process fits the job.

Got something awkward, oversized, delicate or heavy? We’ll take a look.

Porcelain, but make it technical.

12mm Calacatta Oro by Infinity Surfaces, supplied via Porcelain Plus.
Processed on the waterjet for clean edges, tight tolerances, zero heat.

When the finish matters just as much as the cut.

Let’s talk capability.

The toolkit just got bigger.

MARC5 bridge saw, now on the floor.
More capacity. More accuracy. More options.

From straight cuts to complex work,
we’ve got the process to match.

Cut smarter.

Most people focus on the cutting.

The real efficiency starts long before that.

Nesting determines material usage, throughput, waste and workflow before the machine even starts moving.

A few small decisions here can change the entire run.

Wrong process? You’re dealing with chips, cracks and waste.

Right process?
This.

3mm opal glass, cut clean with zero heat input.
Edges that hold. Shapes that stay true.

When it has to be right first time.

6mm 5083 aluminium, straight off the crane and onto the bed.

Oversized sheets like this don’t get broken down to suit the machine. They stay intact, which means cleaner nesting, fewer joins, and far less compromise in the final result.

This is marine-grade aluminium with serious sheet size, handled in one hit. No rehandling, no piecing together sections later. Just full-scale processing the way it was intended.

There aren’t many setups in Victoria that can take this on without blinking.

Got a job that’s pushing standard sheet limits? Send it through.

30mm BIS80 on the waterjet. Hard-wearing plate designed to take impact, not be easy to cut.

Heavy section, high strength, and zero tolerance for sloppy edges. The kind of material that shows up every shortcut.

Waterjet keeps it controlled from entry to exit. Clean edges, accurate profiles, and no need to fight it afterwards.

If the spec calls for it, we cut it as is. No downgrading the material to suit the process.

Send through your files when the job calls for something tougher.

3mm 5005 aluminium cut into clean arc profiles.

Light gauge on paper, but once you start chasing curves, it shows everything.

Any inconsistency, any rough exit, it all reads in the final piece.

Waterjet keeps the line smooth the whole way through. No stepping, no cleanup chasing the curve afterwards. Just arcs that come off the bed ready to go.

When the detail is in the shape, it needs to hold.

Got profiles that can’t afford to wander? Send them through.

Worn-out truck suspension joint.

Completely stuck.
Wouldn’t press out.
Wasn’t safe to heat.

So we gave it somewhere to go.

Cold cut. Clean release. Part saved.

Simple.

When you’ve got the right process.

Let’s talk capability.
