In which case study scenarios can different frameworks apply?
Here are some examples… what examples can you share??

1. SWOT Analysis:
• Scenario: When assessing the overall strategic position of a company or a new product launch.
• Example: A company considering entering a new market might use SWOT to evaluate internal capabilities and external market conditions.
2. Porter’s Five Forces:
• Scenario: When analyzing the competitive environment of an industry.
• Example: A firm deciding whether to enter the smartphone market would use this framework to understand competitive pressures and profitability potential.
3. Four Ps (Marketing Mix):
• Scenario: When developing a marketing strategy for a product or service.
• Example: A new beverage company planning its launch strategy would use the Four Ps to decide on product features, pricing, distribution channels, and promotional tactics.
4. 3C’s Framework:
• Scenario: When evaluating a business’s strategic situation.
• Example: A startup looking to pivot its business model would use the 3C’s to analyze its internal capabilities, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
5. PEST Analysis:
• Scenario: When examining the macro-environmental factors affecting a business.
• Example: A multinational corporation planning to enter a new country would use PEST to assess political, economic, social, and technological factors in the target market.
6. BCG Matrix:
• Scenario: When managing a portfolio of products or business units.
• Example: A diversified company reviewing its business units to decide where to invest, divest, or develop new products would use the BCG Matrix to categorize and prioritize its investments.
7. Value Chain Analysis:
• Scenario: When analyzing internal processes to improve efficiency and value creation.
• Example: A manufacturing company aiming to reduce costs and improve margins would use value chain analysis to identify areas for operational improvement and cost reduction.
8. Issue Tree:
• Scenario: When breaking down a complex problem into manageable parts.
• Example: A consulting firm tasked with reducing a client’s operational costs would use an issue tree to systematically dissect the problem and identify key areas for cost savings.
