On 1st September we launch a new initiative on the Peninsula where a business can develop a complete Quality Management System (usually costing around $10,000 with a consultant), in class taught and supervised by a quality auditor, and have it assessed for quality compliance.
It requires participants to attend class 2 days per week over a 4 week period.
Suitable for small businesses aiming to operate with an internationally recognized level of quality (also a fantastic way to establish a new business by implementing systems and procedures aimed at continuous improvement based on quality principles), also for small businesses tendering for contracts with larger organizations who require ISO 9001 Certification.

Producers might measure the conformance quality, or degree to which the product/service was produced correctly.

Support personnel may measure quality in the degree that a product is reliable, maintainable, or sustainable.

Simply put, a quality item (an item that has quality) has the ability to perform satisfactorily in service and is suitable for its intended purpose.

Welcome to my ISO 9001 focus page!!

I established myself as a Quality Consultant in 2007 and have since trained and become a Certified Quality Lead Auditor.

I will be posting regularly to this site to inform you about Quality Management and how it can escalate your business into being more profitable and customer focussed. This site also provides a platform to explore aspects of the International Standard of ISO 9001:2008 which many people can't or don't have time to interpret.

My aim is to give you snippets of interpretation and link you to my blog where you are also welcome to contribute. If you would like to know anything specific please feel free to post here so everyone can be benefitted.

Being proficient in developing and auditing Quality Management Systems for businesses who require Certification also means that I offer coaching assistance, and in many cases full development of clear and user-friendly policies and procedures for new and existing businesses.
