Rowena Martinich and Geoffrey Carran have created a dynamic colourful work, depicting two dancing egrets in the Birdcage at the Spring Racing Carnival. Flexing their feathers, this elegant pair of birds are showing a flamboyant display with their wings outstretched, attention seeking, checking out each other’s suitability (and flair!).
