🚂 Grants in Action — Supporting longevity at the Altona Miniature Railway
For nearly 50 years, the Altona Miniature Railway has been bringing people together in Hobsons Bay.
Run by a passionate team of 65 volunteers, the railway is more than a community attraction — it’s a place where people share skills, build friendships and contribute to something meaningful.
With support from the Hobsons Bay Community Fund the railway has introduced a new accessible caboose designed to improve volunteer health and safety, helping more people continue participating for years to come.

In the last financial year alone, volunteers provided more than 23,000 rides to the community.
