⚽ Huge project completed at Walter Galt Reserve, Parkdale VIC!

Working alongside the City of Kingston, we installed two massive 10m x 30m barrier nets designed to improve player safety, keep games flowing, and stop balls from reaching nearby roads and car parks.

Despite challenges including contaminated soil and site restoration works, the team adapted, collaborated, and delivered a great outcome for the community.

Venkat's Backyard Net: Transforming a narrow backyard into a fully enclosed cricket training lane. 👏🏏

Working within a tight 2.8m x 15m space, the team installed 4 base plated corner poles to create a strong and functional backyard net system built for serious practice sessions.

For added protection along the house side, we used heavy-duty 200 ply netting with a 45mm mesh to help reduce impact risk and keep everything contained.

The enclosure was finished with fully laced corners, black nylon net clips, stainless steel snap hooks, and a criss-cross PVC cable roof support system designed to minimise sagging and reduce long-term net wear.

Clean, durable, and built to perform — another Oxley Nets project delivered on time and on budget.

• 200 ply | 45mm mesh (house side)
• 36 ply | 48mm mesh

Big install day at Bendigo Stadium. 👏

Just 2 hours from the factory, the team got straight to work delivering another high-quality custom netting system.

Jonty drilled 30 precision holes using a magnetic drill to install custom-designed brackets, ensuring every detail was accurate and built to spec.

Working alongside Fairbrother’s, we completed the site measure, finalised the design, and moved quickly into installation with zero room for error.

The finished setup features black net clips surrounding a heavy-duty UV stabilised 36-ply net with 48mm mesh — strong, clean, and built for long-term performance.

Another solid result by the Oxley Nets team.

One of the biggest projects we’ve ever been part of. 👏

Oxley Nets worked alongside Rare Engineers, Stanton Management Group, and Crisp Bros. & Haywards to help bring this massive new driving range facility at Country Club Tasmania to life.

From technical specifications and net design to on-site installation support, this project required serious collaboration, precision, and expertise from every team involved.

The scale of these super nets is hard to capture on camera… they are absolutely massive.

A huge effort by everyone involved — and a proud project for the Oxley Nets team.

Rebuilding the MCG's outdoor turf training facility wasn't just about replacing old nets. It was about rethinking the entire structural approach — from how the cables route through the system, to how the grounds staff interact with it every single day.

⛳️ New barrier net installed at Port Fairy Golf Links — ranked #35 in Australia’s Top 100 Golf Courses.

We replaced the old, damaged net with a custom-designed system, completed from remote design to full installation in just one morning. 💪

20 years ago, my father Peter designed and installed the training nets at the MCG.

Last week, we handed them back — completely reimagined for the next generation.

This project meant everything to us. Not just because of the legacy, but because of what it took to get it right. Months of engineering. A reversed structural layout. Custom 6m × 22m lane nets. Lockable cam pulley systems designed specifically for the MCG grounds team.

Delivered on time. Built to last another 20 years.

This is a great way to help coaches get more out of their sessions.
Stop having to waste 5 minutes having to walk down 3 courts to collect the balls. So many great ways this will help plenty of tennis clubs out there.
