Early start, but worth it to have everyone together in the same room. Humans are social creatures after all!

Before kicking off this morning’s Company Meeting breakfast, we took a moment to acknowledge National Sorry Day and reflect on the importance of learning from the past for First Nations peoples and communities, while also looking ahead to the future and the opportunities still in front of us.

These gatherings are an important part of life at DB Results and are not just about company updates. They are intentionally designed to bring our people together and create space for genuine connection.

In a world where genuine social connection is becoming harder to come by, and many of our human skills risk being lost behind screens and busy schedules, we believe these types of events are crucial. There is something valuable about taking the time to be in the same room and have conversations face-to-face outside the office.

This morning we heard from our CEOs Andrew Dean and Gavin Bunshaw, Managing Directors Sam Alexopoulos and Natasha Bunshaw, Head of People & Culture Marnie Morton, Head of Business Services Brett Waldegrave, Executive Consultant Jarrod Ellery, Head of Information Security & Tech Maddy Mukul and Senior Consultant Debangan Roy.

Turns out coffee, conversation and getting people in the same room still works pretty well.

Every year we value the opportunity to come together across Australia for Australia's Biggest Morning Tea run by the Cancer Council. Having supported this cause for years, we were curious about the impact these fundraisers actually make.

So we looked into the numbers.

Over the past five years, Cancer Council has invested almost $250 million into Australian cancer research, helping improve survival rates from 49% in the 1980s to 71% today. Like so many Australians, most of us know cancer intimately through family or friends we care deeply about.

We know sweet treats alone won’t solve this global challenge, but supporting a cause which is making a real difference matters. It’s also a reminder that creating a positive impact expands beyond the day-to-day work we do at DB Results and into the communities around us too.

Thank you to everyone who donated, baked and got involved. 💛

Today is Global Accessibility Awareness Day. We have said for years that accessibility isn't just a checkbox. It is something that needs intentional focus and considered from the beginning.

We have said for years that accessibility isn't just a checkbox. For those working on digital or service related projects, this needs to be considered from the beginning.

Digital Health Festival kicks off in Melbourne this week, bringing together leaders across healthcare, technology and transformation to explore what the future of healthcare in Australia could look like.

One theme that continues to stand out across the sector is that digital transformation in healthcare is deeply human work. Behind every platform, workflow and system are clinicians, operational teams and patients relying on things to function seamlessly.

Recently, DB Results partnered with Gippsland Health Alliance (GHA) on a large-scale SAP SuccessFactors transformation supporting 11 regional Victorian health services. The program focused on strengthening workforce systems and helping create more consistent, sustainable operations across participating agencies.

Most people will never see these systems, but healthcare staff feel the impact of them every single day when they don’t work properly.

As the industry gathers this week, one question feels increasingly important:

Are we designing digital health systems around technology first, or around the realities of the people using them every day?

In healthcare, when systems don’t work smoothly, people feel it straight away.

Gippsland Health Alliance (GHA) was mid‑way through a complex SAP SuccessFactors rollout supporting 11 regional health services across Victoria. Confidence had dipped, and the focus was clear: put people first and make sure the platform genuinely supported the workforce delivering care to their communities.

DB Results partnered with GHA to provide an independent review, reset decision‑making, and help deliver a solution that’s stable, scalable, and grounded in the realities of regional healthcare.

The outcome goes beyond a successful go‑live. It’s about enabling health services to work better together, supporting staff through consistent HR and payroll processes, and building capability for what comes next.

DB Results was delighted to attend the 2026 E.J. Whitten Golf Day at the beautiful Victoria Golf Club in support of RULE Prostate Cancer Organisation and the important work they do raising awareness for prostate cancer research and early detection.

Gavin Bunshaw, Andrew Dean and Mark Airs joined legendary cricketer Damien Fleming for a fantastic day filled with laughs, great company and some seriously impressive golf shots.

While 7 under off the stick wasn’t quite enough to take home a prize, it was certainly enough for the team to walk away proud. Flemo was a wonderful host answering every question we threw at him as well as talking about his recent entertaining podcasts he is doing with Lehmo and Pete Helliar called “Make Me Good At Golf”.

The lunch that followed was a great way to finish with some great celebrity interviews and guest speakers reminding us of how important and life saving a simple blood test can be if done early. A timely reminder to encourage the men in our lives to prioritise their health, because a simple blood test can truly save lives.

A big thank you to Rob Sinclair and the team at e&s, the team at RULE Prostate Cancer Organisation, and Ted Whitten for hosting such a memorable event.

DB Results are proud to be annual supporters of such a worthy cause, and grateful to contribute to the incredible $80,000 raised on the day.

What if advanced AI-style search could be built directly into business applications without adding layers of costly infrastructure?

That’s what DB Results shared on stage at OutSystems Developer Days Manila.

Our Senior Tech Consultant and OutSystems Champion Michael de Guzman presented how DB Results built native Vector Storage and Semantic Search directly within OutSystems Developer Cloud (ODC), developed through our internal R&D work and without relying on external infrastructure.

Mike's work was published ahead of OutSystems’ own Semantic Search Beta announcement, highlighting how our teams continue pushing the boundaries of what’s possible on the platform.

It was fantastic to also see strong representation from our DB Results Philippines team attending and supporting the broader OutSystems community throughout the event.

At DB Results, we partner with OutSystems because it enables faster delivery of enterprise-grade digital solutions, while still providing the flexibility and control needed to solve complex business problems at scale.

We support these events as they are an opportunity to contribute back to the ecosystem by sharing practical learnings, real-world experimentation, and emerging approaches with the wider community.

At DB Results, our purpose shapes how we think about impact beyond delivery. As a profit‑for‑purpose organisation, we believe performance and impact go hand in hand.

We were fortunate to be joined by guest speaker Sai Meghna Reddy for a session on microplastics and their direct impacts on biodiversity. It was a timely reminder that environmental challenges are closely connected to human health, lifestyle and long‑term wellbeing. What we design, consume and normalise today shapes the world we live in tomorrow.

Rather than focusing on doing everything perfectly, the conversation centred on awareness and practical choices — understanding where individual actions can make a difference, even when the issue feels global in scale.
A few takeaways that stayed with us: • Plastic is a scale problem: Around 390 million tonnes are produced every year, with material and energy impacts comparable to major global industries.

• Environmental risk is a health risk: Microplastics are now found in the human body, linking environmental exposure to long‑term wellbeing and workforce health.
• Design decisions matter most: Single‑use packaging is a dominant source, showing that upstream choices have a far greater impact than downstream clean‑up.

Conversations like these are important because they connect purpose to action, reinforcing why sustainability isn’t separate from business, culture or community. This way of thinking sits at the heart of our B Corp commitment.

Thank you to Sai for joining us, we loved having you in our Brisbane office!

How do you celebrate the work of your consultants when there’s so much uncertainty in the market?

We believe it starts with bringing people together and showing up as one team.

At our National Consulting All‑Hands, more than 100 consultants joined from Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. Creating time to connect like this matters. Not just to share updates, but to reinforce a sense of unity and direction at a time when the external environment feels unsettled.

One of the best parts of the session was hearing directly from a customer. Listening to honest reflections on how our teams are working with them and how we differentiate from other partners was a good reminder of why we stand out and the impacts DB Results are having.

What stood out during the session:
• Taking time to reflect on what being an AFR Best Places to Work finalist represents for our people
• A clear view of how the business is positioned as we head toward FY27
• How technology and Agentic AI are being adopted in a way that supports strong judgment, trust and delivery
• Recognising people and leaders for the contributions they make across the business
• Ongoing investment in learning through DB Academy and peer‑led development

Thanks to everyone who presented and contributed. Bringing people together like this takes effort, and we greatly appreciate those involved in making it such an engaging event.

One of the reasons we chose our existing Melbourne office location was the building’s genuine commitment to sustainability.

From waste reduction to smarter use of resources, it closely aligns with our own purpose and the impact we want to have beyond our day‑to‑day work.

This week, the building team is running a fun initiative focused on improving recycling habits across the building and we genuinely enjoyed getting involved. This initiative shows us how learning and a bit of friendly competition can go a long way in driving better environmental outcomes. Using play as a way to learn, and change habits, makes that purpose feel practical.

Choosing a workplace that takes its environmental responsibilities seriously matters to us. Getting involved in initiatives like this is one of the ways we try to live our values, not just talk about them.

If you want to sharpen your recycling skills, here are a few quick reminders:

· Rinse containers: Food and oils contaminate containers, making them unusable at recycling facilities. A quick rinse is all it takes, bonus points if you reuse dishwater.
· Remove food grease before recycling: Greasy paper or cardboard (like pizza boxes or sandwich wrappers) can ruin an entire recycling batch. If it can’t be rinsed clean, it belongs in landfill.
· Coffee cups don’t belong in regular recycling: Most takeaway cups have a waterproof lining that makes them unsuitable for standard recycling. The most sustainable options are staying in‑house, using a reusable cup, or using a dedicated coffee cup recycling station (we have on in our building!)

Caring for the environment sits at the heart of our purpose. At DB Results, we strongly believe that environmental health is deeply connected to people’s health, livelihoods and long‑term wellbeing.
