A husband and wife were admitted to different hospitals in the Netherlands—he for pancreatic cancer surgery, she for leukemia treatment. When she was suddenly rushed to the emergency department and her condition worsened, doctors acted quickly to reunite them in the same hospital. Thanks to their efforts, they spent their final moments together, surrounded by their sons. A powerful reminder that healthcare is not just about treatment, but about humanity.
