Congratulations to Music Australia on the release of The Bass Line - the second edition of their comprehensive, end-to-end analysis of the economic contribution of the Australian music industry.

Revealed at VMDO's Music Data and Insights Summit last week, the report found that the Australian music industry contributed $4.28 billion value to the Australian economy in 2024-25.

The report also states that Victoria accounts for:
☑️ 33% of Australia’s music industry revenue
☑️ 32% of national music exports
☑️ 30% of national direct Gross Value Added (GVA)
