💡What’s in name? From lockdown I represented my client Rhondalynn Korolak yesterday in the Federal Circuit Court defending her ownership of the Financial Foreplay Trademark ™️ .
💡Featured in A Current Affair ™️ last week, this case raises issues on ownernship and whether another business owner can assert ownership of a name and leverage it for their own benefit, especially in an online world.
💡Rhondalynn first began using the term with the launch of her book over a decade ago and it has been a registered Trademark since 2016.
💡In a digital world many think they can use the names of others to leverage their own business. A Trademark is a legally enforceable registered right that grants you ownership by law under the Trademarks Act 1995. It protects your brand, name and reputation in the marketplace.
