At our Las Bambas site, organic waste is being turned into a valuable resource.

The operation has commissioned what is believed to be the largest automated composting plant within Peru’s mining sector, with capacity to process up to five tonnes of organic material each day.

The facility has reduced organic waste generated at the Anta Wasi camp by up to 90%, while producing high-quality compost for revegetation, soil restoration and community agricultural initiatives.

It’s a practical example of how environmental innovation and resource efficiency can support more sustainable mining.

MMG has identified a prospective copper target at Dugald River, highlighting the potential for future growth beyond the operation's existing zinc-lead-silver orebody. Located approximately 600 metres south of current mining activities, the Wallaroo prospect has returned encouraging drilling results, including significant copper mineralisation and high-grade intersections.

Further exploration activities, including a diamond drilling program planned for Q3 2026, will help build understanding of the target. The discovery supports MMG's broader focus on near-mine exploration to unlock additional value from existing operations.

For the first time in MMG's history, we have reported two Maiden discoveries in a single year.

Our 2026 Mineral Resources and Ore Reserves Statement includes the significant Kgwebe copper-silver discovery at Khoemacau in Botswana, adding 1.4 million tonnes of copper and 90 million ounces of silver to the site’s Mineral Resources, and a Maiden polymetallic Mineral Resource for High Lake East at the Izok Corridor Project in Nunavut, Canada. These two new discoveries reflect our sustained investment in exploration and resource growth and strengthen the future of our operations across the portfolio.

Across the Group, copper and zinc Mineral Resources (contained metal) increased by 7 per cent and 6 per cent respectively, while Ore Reserves (contained metal) grew by 1 per cent for copper and 10 per cent for zinc.

MMG has today released its 2026 Interim Results with the company delivering record earnings and operating cash flow.

EBITDA increased to US$2,727.4 million and EBIT to US$2,177.2 million. While net profit after tax reached a record US$1,366 million and profit attributable to equity holders of the Company increased to US$897.2 million. These results reflect strong operational performance across the portfolio, higher realised commodity prices and disciplined ex*****on.
