3G is dead. Telstra, Optus, and TPG have all switched off their 3G services. Behind the 5G rollout, thousands of tower sites are being stripped.

Telstra InfraCo recovered 13,930 tonnes of metal in FY23 from their copper cable program. Metal recovered. But most of the polymer insulation doesn't make it back into the supply chain.

Every cable you pull has insulation on it. PVC, XLPE, rubber - depends on the job. PVC is by far the most common in building wiring: flexible, flame-resistant, stable, lasts decades.

When the cable comes off a job, the copper gets taken. The insulation gets left behind.

We recover both. 90%+ of the cable goes back into the supply chain.
