🔎 Client Focus - - Lana Kanchik

Over the last year and a half, it has been an absolute pleasure working alongside Lana from TravelManagers, helping continue to grow and evolve her already highly respected presence within the travel industry. Heck, over 30 years in the industry and there's till so much opportunity!

Together, we’ve worked across social media strategy, content creation, META and Google advertising, website improvements, Google Business Profile optimisation, campaign development and ongoing digital refinement, all focused on connecting with what today’s travelling public is actively looking for and engaging with.

The results have been incredibly rewarding, not only through strong growth in social media engagement and followers, but also through increased website traffic, ongoing improvements to Lana’s TravelManagers and Travel Agent Finder profiles, stronger visibility across Google, and most importantly, generating new and unique business opportunities.

One thing we truly admire about Lana is her willingness to continue evolving and exploring new opportunities within the industry, from collaborations with other businesses and brands through to recently being selected to participate in a highly respected travel podcast 🎙️

Working hand in hand, we continue refining strategy, campaigns and content to ensure we stay connected with current travel trends and audience behaviour, resulting in phenomenal impressions, CTRs (Click Through Rates), engagement and overall campaign performance across multiple platforms.

Thank you Lana for continuing to trust TYRANT Creative & REPTOR Group with your digital presence and ongoing growth journey! 💚🦖

Australia’s aviation landscape could soon be welcoming two new names to the skies, with both Koala Airlines and Zinc continuing to work toward anticipated launches later this year. ✈️

Having spent many years working across the travel and aviation industry, including representing and collaborating with a variety of airline brands, it’s always exciting to see new players entering the market. Competition can bring fresh ideas, new opportunities for travellers, and stronger outcomes for the tourism sector overall.

That said, Australia has historically been a very challenging environment for emerging airlines. The major carriers hold strong market positions, and history has shown that long-term sustainability can often become the biggest hurdle for new entrants.

One aspect that has particularly caught attention recently is discussion surrounding Zinc potentially holding customer monies in trust until travel is completed. While this has not yet been fully confirmed, if implemented, it could prove to be a very smart strategic move in helping build consumer confidence within today’s market.

Both airlines appear to be progressing steadily behind the scenes, with senior appointments already announced and broader recruitment activity beginning to emerge as momentum builds toward launch.

At REPTOR | Brand Representation, we always enjoy watching how new brands position themselves within competitive industries, especially in sectors as dynamic and passionate as aviation.

Would love to hear respectful thoughts and opinions from others. Do you think Australia is ready for more airline competition again?

🔎 Client Focus - ecyo

One of the brands I’ve been fortunate to work with through REPTOR | Brand Representation is 'ecyo', a purpose-driven Australian company focused on creating sustainable, environmentally conscious products designed to reduce waste and encourage everyday change. 🌏🌿

What stood out to me most about 'ecyo' was their genuine vision. In a world where sustainability can sometimes feel like a buzzword, ecyo’s approach felt authentic, practical and community-focused. Their mission centres around helping people make better choices without sacrificing quality, convenience or design.

The brand was built around the idea that small changes, when adopted consistently by many people, can create a massive positive impact over time. That philosophy flows through everything they do, from their products and packaging through to the way they communicate with customers and businesses alike.

My role involved representation and outreach, along with assisting in account growth and retention strategies to help strengthen relationships and expand awareness of the brand within the Australian market.

I always enjoy working with businesses that combine strong values with a clear long-term vision, and ecyo is definitely one of those brands. ♻️🌏💚

👻🚨 Annoying Fact About Google Reviews… They Don’t Always Show Up 🚨👻

A lot of people don’t realise that just because YOU can see a Google review after posting it, doesn’t necessarily mean the review has gone public for everyone else yet. Google’s filtering system can sometimes hold, delay or completely hide legitimate reviews while it checks for spam, suspicious activity, or violations of their policies.

And honestly? Sometimes the system feels about as predictable as Melbourne weather. ☁️☀️🌧️

A few things that can sometimes trigger reviews being hidden:

🚫 Brand new Google accounts leaving reviews
🚫 Multiple reviews posted quickly from the same location/WiFi
🚫 Reviews with links, unusual wording or too much repetition
🚫 Businesses suddenly receiving several reviews at once
🚫 Google simply deciding today is chaos day

Tips to help reviews appear properly:
✅ Use a genuine, active Google account
✅ Add a written comment instead of only stars
✅ Avoid copy/paste reviews
✅ Give it time, some reviews can take days to appear publicly
✅ Don’t panic if the business owner can’t immediately see it

And before anyone says “just contact Google support”… let’s just say that journey sometimes feels like trying to file a support ticket with a smoke machine and a treasure map. 😂

At the end of the day, genuine client feedback matters enormously to small businesses, and I’m incredibly grateful to every person who takes the time to leave a review, visible immediately or not.

The internet is weird sometimes. We move. 😎✌️

🔎 Client Focus -

One of the brands I’ve had the pleasure of working with is Imunika, an innovative wellness coffee brand blending South Korean fermentation heritage with premium specialty coffee. ☕🇰🇷

Founded by Jinhu Park, Imunika was born from a deeply personal story centred around health, family, and wellbeing. Using a patented bio-fermentation process developed in South Korea, Imunika combines specialty coffee beans with the wellness benefits of functional mushrooms, creating a smooth, low-acidity coffee experience unlike anything else on the market.

What makes the brand stand out is that it doesn’t just focus on “wellness trends”, it genuinely blends science, culture and ritual into something meaningful. Their approach to fermentation and quality has helped position them as a unique player in the evolving wellness coffee space. ✨

I had the opportunity to work alongside Jinhu assisting with market research, customer surveys, and early-stage outreach to help explore local collaboration opportunities and better understand the Australian market landscape.

It’s always exciting working with brands that are trying to do something genuinely different, and Imunika definitely fits that category.

Big changes are happening in the world of Meta messaging, and a lot of people still don’t fully understand what it means...

Big changes are happening in the world of Meta messaging, and a lot of people still don’t fully understand what it means for their privacy.

Meta has announced changes around message encryption and AI integration across its platforms, which essentially means some chats, images and conversations may no longer stay as “private” as people assumed they were.

So… what does that actually mean in normal human language? 👇

Think of encrypted messaging like sending a locked safe through the mail where only you and the other person have the key.

Without full end-to-end encryption, parts of those conversations can potentially be accessed, analysed, scanned or used by systems and AI tools behind the scenes.

This DOES NOT mean someone at Meta is personally reading your messages like a reality TV producer 🍿

But it does mean your conversations may not be as sealed-off and untouchable as many users believed.

For businesses, clients and everyday users, it’s a reminder to think carefully about:

Sensitive conversations
Personal information
Financial details
Private images/files
Confidential business chats

If maintaining encrypted communication is important to you, platforms like WhatsApp currently still offer end-to-end encrypted messaging by default.

The internet is slowly shifting from “private digital conversations” to “data-aware conversations”, and most people don’t even realise it’s happening.

Worth paying attention to 👀
