A great day at the Long Yarn Lunch held last week in Gunning, bringing the community together to raise awareness for men’s mental health and support local health services.

It was fantastic to see such a strong turnout for an important cause, with plenty of conversations, connection and support throughout the day. Special thanks to guest speaker Merv Hughes who was a highlight of the event.

Australian Made Week | LoomTex + Instyle Interior Finishes

From wool to woven fabric, Australian manufacturing continues to play an important role in the future of the wool industry.

Established in the 1920s, LoomTex is recognised as Australia’s last remaining commercial wool weaving mill and dyehouse, continuing a long history of local textile manufacturing in Geelong.

Alongside them is Instyle, an Australian owned textile company producing high quality commercial interior fabrics with a strong focus on ethical and sustainable manufacturing. Together, the two businesses are helping support the future of Australian made wool textiles and keeping textile manufacturing capability within Australia.

A strong example of innovation, craftsmanship and local manufacturing continuing to support the Australian wool industry.
