Open Vineyards 2026 has officially wrapped up this afternoon, and what an incredible three days it has been.

With fantastic weather from start to finish and 50+ producers from across Southern Tasmania opening their doors, sharing their stories, and pouring their wines, this year’s event was a true celebration of our region’s vibrant wine community.

To everyone who joined us, whether you visited one vineyard or made a full weekend of it, thank you. Your support means the world to our growers, makers, cellar door teams, musicians, food partners, and everyone working behind the scenes to bring Open Vineyards to life.

As we look ahead, 2027 marks a huge milestone, the 30-year anniversary of Open Vineyards!
We’re already dreaming big and planning to make it our most memorable celebration yet.

If you attended this year’s event, we’d love your feedback. Your insights help us shape the future of Open Vineyards and make next year even bigger and better.

Before then, mark your calendars for our next Wine South Tasmania event, Spring in the Vines, returning in late October / early November (date TBC). We can’t wait to welcome you back to the vines as the season turns and the vineyards burst into life once again.

Thank you again for being part of Open Vineyards 2026. We wish you a safe journey home and encourage you to continue supporting the Southern Tasmania wine industry, visit cellar doors, share your favourite wines with friends, and keep celebrating the people and places that make our regions so special.

Until next time πŸ‡πŸ₯‚

4 vintages to taste - 2020, 2022, 2024, 2025

6 vintages to purchase 2020 to 2025.

β˜€οΈ Open Vineyards Starts Today 🍷

It’s a beautiful, sunny morning and we couldn’t have asked for a better way to begin the weekend. The forecast is on our side, we won’t mention the R word, but with just a small chance of a shower across the regions, it’s shaping up to be a great few days to explore.

A few tips to make the most of your Open Vineyards experience:
β€’ Bring sun protection - hats, sunglasses and sunscreen are a must.
β€’ Plan a safe way home - designate a driver or arrange transport in advance.
β€’ Stay hydrated and enjoy food along the way.
β€’ Take your time - it’s about the experience, not the rush.
β€’ Look out for signage in the regions to help guide your trail.
β€’ Check the website before you head out to confirm the producers you’re interested in are open today, not all producers are open on Friday.
β€’ Review individual producer pages for special events, tastings and ticketed sessions so you don’t miss out.

Most importantly, enjoy the wine, the food and the regional hospitality that make this weekend so special.

Tag us or use so we can see what you’re getting up to.

We can’t wait to welcome you for a fantastic weekend.

See you at Open Vineyards! πŸ‡
