We're over the moon to have picked up TWO Gold medals at the Royal Adelaide W**e Awards today 🥇🥇

Our new 2026 vintage Cellar Reserve Verdejo and the 2016 Reserve Noble Taminga were both awarded 95 points. An outstanding result for the only two w**es entered in the show made from these varieties!

W**emaker Katherine Hynes proudly attended the exhibitor tasting today to see our newest Gold medal w**es being enjoyed. Congratulations to Katherine as well as Anthony and Pat Murphy and our w**ery team 👏

While the Taminga is available to order now, our 2026 Verdejo is still slated for release, so keep your ears open for when it may be landing!

After a brilliant grand final long weekend at Trentham, we're excited for another one, this time for the NSW side of the river!

On Monday 5th our Cellar Door will be open from 10am to 5pm, with plenty of new vintage releases to taste 🥂

Outdoor bookings for platters are welcome - simply head to our website or call our team on (03) 5024 8888.

Please note our restaurant will be closed on this day, and a 15% public holiday surcharge will apply in the Cellar Door.

Our Cellar Door will close at the earlier time of 1pm this coming Tuesday 29th September due to a function being held at the Estate.

Feel free to visit from 10am-1pm, and we will reopen as normal on Wednesday.

Rated 92 points and marked as special value, esteemed tasting panelist Jeni Port had this to say about the 2024 vintage:

"The Sicilian red grape variety laps up the warmth of the Murray Darling and rewards the drinker with one black-cherried beauty, smoothly delivered and so, so approachable. Puts a smile on the face and delights in fragrant autumnal earthy and cherry aromas. A seamless transition to the palate with juicy, just-picked black cherries, plum, anise, red licorice and spice roaming long and creamy smooth. So good on price and on flavour."

As we wave winter goodbye and look forward to some beautiful sunshine over the next week, we wanted to thank the wonderful guests who joined us for Tour & Tasting With The W**emakers recently as part of the 'Why Not Winter in Wentworth?' campaign in our region.

The group enjoyed a behind-the-scenes tour of our w**ery and cellar - with some tastings direct from the tank en route - followed by a vertical Reserve Shiraz and fortifieds tasting paired with canapes in our barrel room. W**emakers Anthony and Katherine answered plenty of insightful questions and we were pleased to have so many of our W**e Club members along as well as new, curious w**e lovers keen to learn more!
