Twoset Violin shocked fans with a cryptic announcement in October 2024. Brett Yang and Eddy Chen culled their public YouTube videos from 1500+ to 29 and went radio silent for about 7 weeks. Why?

I wrote an article to recap what happened, process the loss of a favourite YouTube channel, and reflect on related topics of interest.

Some fans have been supportive, but many have reacted with outrage and indignation. I wanted to bring some compassion and balance to the conversation.

I’ll miss Brett and Eddy’s playful, irreverent style. I hope to see them again soon and wish them all the best in their next career moves and creative projects.
