Over the last couple of months I have been asked by many people , What is Thermal Imaging ? I have written a simple explanation below, if you would more information you can go to our website WWW.zappsthermal.com or send me a message.

What is Thermal imaging
In simple words, thermal imaging is taking a picture using heat instead of light.
While normal cameras use light to show what things look like, thermal cameras (or infrared cameras) detect the invisible heat radiation emitted by all objects. This heat data is turned into a picture where different colors represent different temperatures, often called a "heat map".
- Sees in Total Darkness: Because it senses heat rather than light, thermal imaging works perfectly in complete darkness, or through smoke, fog, and dust.
- Non-Contact Sensing: It allows you to measure the temperature of objects from a distance without touching them.

Hi growers, have you been asked by your insurance company to provide a Thermal Imaging report on your shed, cool room switchboards. The best time to do this is when the cool rooms are under load, during the harvest season, as you can benefit from these reports where we can pick up a fault in an electrical component which may save you unnecessary down time and other costly repairs such as burnt-out compressors etc. We are now taking bookings for thermal imaging and can provide this service during the harvest time, all reports are current for 12 months. Please call me on 0427263722 or visit our website www.zappsthermal.com to book in a time.

Reliable thermal imaging for electrical safety and compliance.
