Olive Farm Wines is a 4th generation family-owned & run winery located in the heart of the Swan Valley. Our family took ownership of Olive Farm Wines in 1933 and has been making a diverse range of wines ever since, including Methode Traditionelle, white, red and fortified wines. In 2007 we designed and built our dream winery in Millendon, which we relocated to from our original premises in South G

uildford. Continuing the family tradition of winemaking, father and son do everything from growing the grapes to making and bottling the wine. We invite you to our award winning cellar door, where you can sample our extensive selection of wines. With over 40 wines on offer, we are confident you will find a favourite or two Olive Farm Wines. You'll feel like you're part of the family when you visit Olive Farm winery, with a friendly, relaxed and personable atmosphere, perfect for enjoying our wonderful selection of Swan Valley wines.

The Olive Farm Cellars, constructed around 1830, are important as the earliest surviving fabric of the first successful wine production in the Swan River Colony, as an industry that continues to be an important part of Western Australia's economy and identity.

Chardonnay check-in 🍷

The 2026 Chardonnay trials are happening, which basically means we’re opening barrels to see how the oak journey is going… for research purposes, obviously.

We’re checking in on the flavour, the oak, the texture and most importantly: when can we bottle this thing?

No promises yet, but the ETA investigation is officially underway. 🕵️‍♀️🥂

1987 called. It brought bubbles. 🥂

Long before everyone started arguing about what wine should be called, we were busy making this little beauty.

🍾 Olive Farm Wines Champagne — 1987

Aged. Historic. Still looking fabulous.

And yes, there’s a story behind the name. By 1994, Australia and the EU had agreed to start phasing out European regional names from Australian wines.

So technically, this bottle is a tiny piece of wine history… with bubbles.

1987. Not a typo. Not a gimmick. Just very good at ageing. 🍾

Who said ATAR Geography had to be all maps, graphs and fieldwork?

We recently welcomed a group of ATAR Geography students to Olive Farm Wines for a little real-world look at what happens when climate, soil, water, agriculture and humans all get together… and decide to make wine.

From grape growing to vintage, production and the quirks of farming in the Swan Valley, the students got to see how the theory they learn in the classroom plays out right here in the vineyard.

Basically: geography you can actually drink. 🍷

Thanks for visiting! We hope you left with a few new insights — and possibly a new appreciation for Swan Valley wine. See you again when you turn 18 so we can do some tasting.

CELLAR DOOR AFTER DARK: SPRING FLING

FRIDAY SEP 11th | FROM 6 pm

Spring has sprung, and we’re celebrating the only way we know how — with wine and cheese from our mates at Harvey Cheese.

Join us after dark for a flight of our wines, each paired with a bite-sized cheese chosen to complement the pour. Taste your way through the pairings, discover some new favourites and enjoy a relaxed evening at the cellar door.

A little wine. A little cheese. A very good excuse to stay out late.

Spring has never tasted so good. 🍷🧀

Those of you lucky enough to snag a ticket to Italian Vibes this Saturday are getting a little peek into the future... 🍷✨

You'll be among the very first to taste a barrel sample of our Nero d'Avola before it's even released. Think of it as wine time travel (without the questionable side effects).

Missed out? Well... the event is officially sold out. 😏 You'll just have to sit tight until next year—or make friends with someone who got a ticket (good luck with that).

See you Saturday. Salute! 🇮🇹🍷
