Big day at the 150 celebrations in Minlaton today!
Harley, Ollie, Normy and Blossom will sleep well after 100+ rides!
Such a fantastic show with lots of work and effort put in from the whole committee! 🥳

Massive thank you to my amazing helpers - Sarah, Teagan, Grace, Halle, Evie, Mayzo, Allan and Shirley. Wouldn’t be able to do it without you all - lots of steps and effort but also lots of happy little faces, including this one - who HAD to finish off the day riding ‘her Blossom’!

Keen2ride is proud to be apart of Minlaton’s 150 celebrations held in just a couple of weeks time!

Be sure to come on down to celebrate with us.
We will be offering horse and pony rides from 1pm until 5pm sharp on Saturday the 28th of March at the Minlaton Town Oval.

This is going to be such a fun and eventful weekend for Minlaton and surrounding communities. 🐎

I hope everyone enjoys the warm weather over the long weekend.
Looks great for the beach but not for horse riding! ☀️ 🥵
I won’t be available for lessons this weekend due to the heat and as we’re enjoying the last weekend of the holidays as a family before school is back.

This term I’ve decided I won’t be doing the normal regular group sessions.
Instead I will be offering my after school times to those who would prefer a fortnightly 1:1 session or for smaller groups (siblings or friends pre arranged) - Obviously weather dependant as Term 1 is quite warm!
Please message me if you’d like to secure a spot. First in best dressed! 🐴

Happy new year everyone. I hope 2026 is kind to you all!

Unfortunately I don’t have great news to start the year with, very sadly and unexpectedly we lost Red Rock who had been with us for a couple of years.
He was a very gentle and easy going horse for a lot of our riders - and also introduced our girls Halle and Evie into Polocrosse starting their passion!
We will miss you Red Rock! 🩵

Bonnie also sadly had to leave us last year, having life threatening eye issues.
Again was a favourite being the only grey mare of the pack.
Unfortunately we can’t keep them all, and safety does come first at keen2ride.
Farewell Bonnie. 🩷

But in brighter news, we do have 3 new horses that will hopefully be used for lessons and continue to teach you all to ride and bring a lot of love and happiness to Keen2ride.
Welcome to the tribe Normy, Ralph and Caroo!

Caroo is still learning the ropes to ensure he is suitable for lessons but Normy and Ralph are more than ready to go.

I will be taking bookings from this week and will go as long as I can - but more exciting news………. another little potential horse lover will be joining our family in June so I will be having a break closer to then and will not doing regular group lessons in term 2. 🤰🥰

Hope to see as many of you as possible back up in the saddle on our original horses ‘Harley, Ollie, Blossom, Leon & Pete’ or maybe even trying out one the new ones! 🐴

Finally found some time to work out lessons this term.
If you haven’t already messaged me, please do as spots are filling extremely fast and I don’t want anyone to miss out.

I’ll be in touch with all the regulars today to confirm your lessons for term 4.

If you do happen to miss out on a regular spot this term, remember I may still be available for some occasional lessons during the off week or on weekends.

Hope the kids enjoy their first week back at school, and I’m looking forward to seeing them riding next week ☺️🐴
