Wishing all those I've married and all those I'm yet to meet a truely magical Valentine's Day, however you choose to spend it.

My husband Laurie and I have spent 33 Valentines together as a married couple, and even some before that!

Tonight we will share a glass of whatever white wine is in the fridge and remember the richness, complexity and joy sharing our lives has brought us... and as always there will be lots of laughter!

I have just returned from Sydney where I visited the Powehouse Museum and saw a gorgeous exhibition of 200 years of Australian wedding dresses! Such variety in fabrics and style from the earliest dress from 1822 to the ravishing red gown of Tara Moss. I loved this one scatterered with hand sewn and beaded daisies
