ADHD, or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, is a neurodevelopment disorder that affects both children and adults....

ADHD, or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, is a neurodevelopment disorder that affects both children and adults. It is characterised by persistent patterns of inattention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity that interfere with daily functioning and development. The symptoms can vary widely from person to person, and not everyone with ADHD will have the same set of symptoms. The three main types of ADHD are:

1. **Predominantly Inattentive Presentation (ADHD-PI)**:
- Difficulty paying attention to details and making careless mistakes.
- Trouble staying focused on tasks or activities.
- Difficulty organising tasks and activities.
- Easily distracted by external stimuli.
- Forgetfulness in daily activities.

2. **Predominantly Hyperactive-Impulsive Presentation (ADHD-HI)**:
- Restlessness and constant fidgeting.
- Difficulty remaining seated in appropriate situations.
- Excessive talking and difficulty waiting for turns.
- Interrupting others in conversations or activities.
- Impulsive decision-making without considering the consequences.

3. **Combined Presentation (ADHD-C)**:
- A combination of both inattentive and hyperactive-impulsive symptoms.

In addition to the core symptoms mentioned above, individuals with ADHD may experience some of the following associated features:

- **Emotional difficulties**: Easily frustrated, quick-tempered, and prone to mood swings.
- **Procrastination**: Struggling with starting or completing tasks.
- **Poor time management**: Difficulty managing time and meeting deadlines.
- **Forgetfulness**: Frequently misplacing items or forgetting appointments.
- **Impaired executive functioning**: Difficulty with planning, organisation, and working memory.
- **Difficulty with follow-through**: Initiating tasks but having difficulty seeing them through to completion.
- **Difficulty with multitasking**: Struggling to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- **Low frustration tolerance**: Becoming easily overwhelmed or discouraged by challenging tasks.
- **Difficulty in relationships**: Trouble maintaining relationships due to impulsivity and inattention.
- **Academic or occupational problems**: Difficulty performing at expected levels in school or work settings.

It's important to note that everyone may experience some of these symptoms from time to time, but for individuals with ADHD, these symptoms are more severe and persistent, leading to significant impairment in various aspects of their lives. If you or someone you know is experiencing symptoms that suggest ADHD, it is crucial to seek a professional evaluation from a qualified healthcare provider or mental health specialist. A proper diagnosis and treatment plan can help manage the symptoms and improve overall functioning.

Systemic or family constellations emerged out of family therapy, systemic theory, and phenomenology, and it was developed in Germany by Bert Hellinger. This method was later expanded by others, including myself, in order to work with symptoms and diseases. A systemic approach for healing is necessary because it is never only the body, soul or spirit that is sick, but the whole person and therefore a holistic approach is required. Diseases can bring to attention what is lacking in wholeness.

Family & Systemic Constellation Workshop –

The benefits of a Constellation workshop are amazing:
• Resolution for stubborn or hidden issues blocking your happiness & success
• Experience a supportive and safe environment
• You feel great helping others in their journey
• Witnessing others resolving issues that also touch your story

Just some of the issues that can be looked at within a Constellation workshop include:
• Relationships issues – current and previous hurts, especially relationship patterns
• Health concerns – long-term, chronic conditions, disease etc
• Mental health issues – depression, anxiety, compulsions
• Barriers to reaching goals – financial, personal, health, career etc
• Business issues such as financial, client challenges and even team dynamics
• Unresolved grief, anger and fears
• Abuse – physical or emotional
• Addictions or compulsive behaviour
• Family and ancestry belief patterns

What is Family Constellation? A way of resolving the impact of trauma in your life…
Trauma is transmitted from one generation to the next implicitly through our memory and DNA, often despite parents best efforts. This trauma is replayed over and over again in relationships or manifests as symptoms or issues in individual family members. The function of these symptoms is to attract the attention of skilled healers who can get to the origins of the issues safely, so that resolution, meaning making and ritual can occur to restore balance and wholeness.
Through Constellation processes a new picture of resolved trauma and a felt sense of support is experienced – creating healing imaged and somatic memories to support new life, free of entanglements from the past.
Pioneered by Bert Hellinger, Family and Systemic Constellations is a current mainstream Counselling practice in Eastern European Countries affected by War & Trauma and is informed by Gestalt Therapy (Field Theory & Phenomenology), Attachment & Experiential schools of Family Therapy, and Indigenous healing rituals.

Who is this for?
Anyone wanting to work on a particular issue, relationship or physical symptom. Also good for anyone who works in the human service industry with individuals, groups or families affected by relational trauma or symptoms of illness.
Participants have the opportunity to look at dynamics in their own life or work where members of the group “represent” parts of the family, issue, symptom, or organization so that relationships between parts can be easily seen. These ‘representatives’ share information from their experience and with this new awareness, space for healing movements and sentences open up restoring the natural “Orders of Love”. This is often a powerful healing process where somatic and relational resources are put in place to support the individual to work through issues respectfully and safely. A new picture and experience of felt relational support are essential elements for recovery and making sense and meaning of the trauma. This workshop is designed for service providers to experience Constellation work and to consider how they may use this is to inform their own practice. New skills are ‘experienced’ so that practitioners can put themselves in their client’s shoes, and are able to communicate this to their clients if considering this approach. Constellation work gets to the heart of issues quickly freeing clients up from the entanglements of the past holding them back from connecting with their life waiting for them.

What others have said about Matt’s Workshops.
“It was a life-changing weekend for me with Matt and Vanessa. The depth of insight, the clarity of a different perspective, the ‘Aha’ moments, the release and the rawness and realness. It was an amazing experience, I walked away with a healed heart on the issues I worked through.
I would definitely come to another workshop, so powerful. Crazy good x Blessed to have been a part of it” Anthea, Coffs Harbour

“I will be back, and I have not felt this way in over a decade. I feel so relaxed, like an uncoiled spring. How I feel now I wish to improve and continue.” Campbell, Grafton

“I’m very glad I came to the workshop. I appreciated seeing other people get some closure and I let go of the shame for my own actions in my past. I feel that a shift has happened in my heart and in myself so I can move forward in my life. It was a wonderful experience.” Jo, Macksville

This training is supported with Theory from an integrated model known as the Transformative Model of Therapeutic Change.
This 10 Day Training program is delivered across two 5 day blocks of Experiential therapy using Family and Systemic Constellation processes and Sensorimotor Art Psychotherapy.
A diagram of it can be seen above.
Only 2 places left.
It is perfect for anyone who works with humans, relational trauma or symptoms as it harnesses our creativity and the bodies own wisdom for healing and making sense and meaning of our experiences, even the ones passed down to us through our ancestors.
The first block 17-21 May 2018 works with our Attachment/Development/Memory Systems Neurobiology and Ego Defenses.
Our past experiences that have become embodied are triggered
looking for resolution.
Here we start to process this through Art & Constellations.
The body is only interested in healing, and trauma is only interested in being resolved when we provide the right conditions and mediums for reorganization.
The second block 6-10 Sept 2018 continues this journey fractally where emotionally corrective experiences occur through multiple systems.
This repetition through different therapeutic modalities is needed for rewiring our nervous systems, and growing awareness of how our
experiences are connected to our reason for being here and an our offerings to humanity.
This is where our entanglements are transformed into gifts and give our own and others lives meaning and richness.
The experiential application of the ‘Transformation journey’ and ‘Heroes Journey’ provide frameworks for understanding our ongoing developmental challenges and growth.

What previous students have said:
I want to express to you my gratitude for this course.
You said at the beginning “You had a strong heart” – How True! I feel very privileged to have done this work with you, and felt very taken care of…shepherded to a new place where I can approach my Life and Work with an open heart, having shed some baggage, that was really slowing me down, and I was so tired of carrying it…to the depth of my soul.
I wanted to move forward, but my process was constantly hampered.
I now feel that the way is clear and the space opened up for me to really come in my own, to fulfill my destiny!
Thank you so much Matt.

I have experienced many Constellation Workshops and this was by far was the best of them…Matt is very skilled in giving understanding to what appears to be a very complex or negative issue, creating acceptance and a new perspective.
He is a walking heart, representing a new breed in Constellation facilitators. Morning and Afternoon tea was also very yummy.
