We are delighted to introduce Fiona Brown as the incoming Independent Chair of Resolution Pathways!

Fiona is a not-for-profit Board member and former CEO who brings deep expertise in complaints management, customer experience and continuous improvement. Fiona brings exactly the kind of leadership that will help Resolution Pathways continue to grow and serve the music community.

The ACCC approved Fiona's nomination in September 2025, and we can't wait to see her contribution to the music industry through Resolution Pathways.

Calling all businesses that licence music or peak body representatives!

Resolution Pathways has a governance committee responsible for overseeing its processes. As authorised by the ACCC the committee comprises both Music Creators and Music Licensees of prescribed royalty amounts. We are looking for a Licensee to join our Governance Committee

This is your chance to get valuable committee experience and to share your perspective, contribute to meaningful decisions, and support the music community.

After a full term of thoughtful contribution, Anthony Brierley is ready to pass the baton to a new member of the committee.

The Resolution Facilitator Team had the opportunity to walk in the shoes of the artists who contribute to the culture of Sydney during a beautiful walk of Sydney public art.

We were guided by the wealth of knowledge that is Barbara Flynn, curatorial advisor for new art in the public domain. This experience made us reflect on all the culture we take for granted as well as the ways art is unconsciously connecting us.

Our take-outs from the experience:
Shirli: Fabulous year end
Sarah: Connection, beauty, reflection
Alexandra: Awareness, beauty, birds (did you know there are 67 brass birds scattered around Sydney C*D?)

We would like to encourage everyone as this busy year comes to a close to take time to yourselves to search for the art around us, visual and sonic. Be inspired by the experiences with family and friends and use that to create art of any kind in the New Year.

If anyone has some hidden art gems (of all kinds) in Australia, let us know!

Last week I attended the APRA AMCOS Arts Music Awards with my colleague (and member of our Governance Committee) Jake Mason. The performances were beautiful.

Words that were shared have stayed with me, and sit in the space of working together to solve problems:
- Collaborate
- Music transcends
- Transformative
- Voices to be heard - nothing as powerful as the human voice
- Group, community, sharing
