According to research by Planet Ark, 70% of Australians would be more likely to purchase a product if it contained recycled materials. This 👀 we'll explore National Recycling Week (8-14 Nov) and how buying products and materials made from recycled content is a significant step to shift our economy from linear to circular 🔄

Planet Ark established way back in 1996. Since then, the recycling rate in Australia has gone from 7% and just 1.5 million total tonnes recycled to over 60% and 43 million tonnes of materials recycled. Australians have gone from recycling just 80kg of material each year to about 1,700kg per person ♻️ 📈

Tuesday. Check it before you chuck it... check on the back of your plastic packaging as little did many of you know that you can recycle all of your soft plastics in the bins provided at every Coles and Woolworths!! Those plastics are now being used to make roads!!! So do the right thing, don’t bin it, collect it, recycle it! It’s that easy!! ♻️

It is with great shock and sadness to hear of the passing of our long-time friend and associate Wai Tang, after a short illness. In the early days of JMP, Wai was a strong supporter of our company and put her enthusiasm and trust in our new team to deliver a wide range of retail packaging to the various brands across the Just Group. Wai was instrumental in contributing to the growth and success of JMP, The Just Group and other businesses around Australia and will be sorely missed. From all at JMP and SMYA, we send our heartfelt condolences to Wai’s family and friends.
