What do you do when one of your participants keeps breaking their bed? Well, you get creative! 💡

One of our incredible participants loved to jump on his bed, which wasn’t exactly ideal! By organising a brand-new trampoline for his home, he was able to jump to his heart’s content, and let his energy out in a more constructive way. 👍

Solutions aren’t one size fits all! We pride ourselves on working closely with our participants to make their lives better, in whatever way fits them best.

One of our incredible liaisons, Ben, has an exciting life update for us! 🙌

He has officially started studying his Master’s in Clinical Psychology! He’s been finding it so interesting, and it’s given him greater insights into what true support of others means.

A lot of what he’s learning links directly to his work here at Jac’s! Safe and grounding communication, noticing signs of stress and implementing simple strategies for making life easier - these are the things we love to see here!

We’re so proud of Ben for taking this next step in his education, and can’t wait to see where it leads!

Another participant success story? Don’t mind if we do! 🤩

One of our amazing participants has been hard at work on her Certificate III in Beauty Services! She has been practicing her skills in manicures and pedicures, learning to use technical beauty equipment safely, and her favourite, discovering industry secrets to makeup application. 💄

She’s so excited to keep growing and one day travel the world with her new skills - we couldn’t be more excited for her! 😊

Everyone, meet Lucky! 🐘

On her recent trip to Chiang Mai in Thailand, our CEO Bec adopted this beautiful elephant, who had been mistreated for years before being taken in by her current home.

Lucky is quite the character, always posing for the camera! She is a true reminder that when you give someone the space to be themselves, you can unlock something truly remarkable. 😊

We’re so Lucky to have her join our crew, and support her from afar!
