🧹 This week we heard from Lucky Singh from Cleaning With Lucky.

Lucky shared how he’s grown Cleaning With Lucky by focusing on reliable, high-quality commercial and industrial cleaning backed by clear systems.

Every new client starts with a trial clean so Lucky’s team can understand exactly what’s required. From there, tasks are documented into detailed checklists, helping his cleaners deliver a consistent result without the client having to continually explain what needs to be done.

Today, the team looks after offices, factories, medical centres, community facilities and other commercial sites, with cleaning available seven days a week and at times that work around the client’s operations.

Lucky is looking to meet businesses that need regular weekly commercial cleaning, particularly offices, factories, medical facilities and larger commercial premises.

Thanks for a great presentation, Lucky, and for sharing the journey behind Cleaning With Lucky! 👏

🏡 This week we heard from Danielle Martin from Ian Reid Vendor Advocates.

With decades of experience in real estate, Danielle knows the sales process inside and out and now puts that experience to work representing property sellers.

Danielle helps vendors choose the right agent, compare proposals, negotiate fees, determine the best sales strategy, manage the campaign and make sense of buyer feedback.

She also gets involved in final negotiations when there are multiple buyers, making sure every opportunity has been explored. In one case, that resulted in a buyer increasing their offer by an incredible $180,000.

Danielle is a particularly valuable referral for anyone selling a property where there are multiple decision-makers, estates or family matters involved. Having an independent advocate can remove emotion and make the process much easier.

Her goal is simple: help vendors make informed decisions based on genuine facts and experience.

Thanks for a great presentation, Danielle! 👏

This week we heard from Matthew van der Ende from Service Launcher.

Matt shared the slightly unconventional path that took him from music → building websites → SEO → Service Launcher, and how the business now brings websites, Google Ads, SEO and AI together to help businesses grow online.

He also brought along a Rubik’s Cube to demonstrate a common marketing problem.

Change your Google Ads and you might improve your clicks. Change your social media and that might improve too. But if your website still has the old message, suddenly the pieces no longer line up.

Good marketing isn’t about fixing one thing in isolation, it’s about making all the pieces work together.

And with AI making it easier than ever for businesses to make changes themselves, having a clear strategy behind those changes is becoming even more important.

Bonus points for actually solving the cube!

🏃 This week we heard from Pippa from The Sports Injury Clinic.

Pippa reminded us that treating an injury isn’t just about getting rid of the pain, it’s about getting people back to doing what they love.

The clinic works with everyone from kids through to people in their 90s, treating sporting injuries, everyday injuries and workplace issues, with a strong focus on proper rehabilitation and preventing the same injury from happening again.

Pippa also spoke about their athlete development programs and concussion management, including testing to make sure someone is genuinely ready to return to sport rather than simply symptom-free.

One thing that sets the clinic apart is that they’re privately owned, allowing the team to focus on people rather than simply pushing patients through.

Whether it’s sport, work, gardening or an unfortunate run-in with some hard rubbish, the goal is the same: get you back to your life, stronger and safer.

Thanks for a great presentation, Pippa! 👏

This week we heard from Matt Tarrant from Ever Wealth Co.

Matt gave us an insight into what financial planning actually involves.

He helps clients make better decisions across three key areas: cash flow, building wealth and protecting wealth. That can include super, investments, tax strategies, retirement planning and personal insurance.

A big part of Matt’s role is also helping clients understand their options and avoid making emotional financial decisions when markets or circumstances change.

So, who should you introduce to Matt?

👉 Someone who’s changed jobs or been made redundant
👉 Having a baby or buying a home
👉 Thinking about retirement
👉 Unsure what their super is doing
👉 Selling a business or investment property

Matt’s approach starts with understanding what’s important to the person first, then building the financial plan around them.

Thanks for a great presentation, Matt! 👏

🔧 This week we heard from James Knox from Rapid Tune Langwarrin.

James gave us a look at what his team really finds underneath the bonnet, from clogged cabin filters and worn brake pads to damaged tyres, leaking shocks and more serious engine repairs.

And Rapid Tune does much more than regular servicing. Their workshop handles logbook servicing, 89-point safety inspections, transmissions, brakes, tyres, air conditioning, roadworthies and pre-purchase inspections.

The big takeaway? 🚗 Don’t wait until something goes wrong to look after your car. Regular maintenance can identify small problems before they become expensive ones.

If you’re buying or selling a used car, due for a service, or just want to make sure your vehicle is safe and running properly, James and the team at Rapid Tune Langwarrin can help.

Thanks for a great presentation, James! 👏

Carl – Violeta Finance

This week we heard from Carl of Violeta Finance, who spoke about helping people take back control of their finances when debt and repayments have become overwhelming.

Using a real client example, Carl explained how refinancing multiple debts—including a home loan, car loan and credit cards—reduced one family’s monthly repayments from around $6,700 to $2,600. More than just the financial saving, it gave them something even more valuable: breathing room and the opportunity to reset without the constant stress of mounting repayments.

Carl reminded us that while many businesses and families are thriving, others are quietly doing it tough. His message was that there is often a solution available—it just starts with having a conversation before financial pressure becomes a crisis.

Carl’s ideal referral is anyone struggling with cash flow, multiple debts or high monthly repayments, whether they’re a business owner or a family feeling the squeeze. He can explore refinancing options and help create a pathway back to financial stability.

Thanks, Carl, for highlighting how the right financial advice can make a genuine difference to people’s lives when they need it most.

Luky Wilson – Travel Managers

This week we heard from Luky Wilson of Travel Managers, who shared stories from her recent European holiday and reminded us why travel is about so much more than simply getting from A to B.

Drawing on more than 20 years in the travel industry, Luky reflected on her journey from owning one of Australia’s highest-performing travel agencies to building a successful home-based business through Travel Managers. Her passion for creating memorable travel experiences was evident as she took us through highlights of her recent trip, including cruising through Spain and Portugal, exploring the French countryside, discovering incredible local restaurants and proving that some of the best experiences can be found just outside the major tourist hotspots.

Luky left us with a simple but powerful message: don’t wait for “someday” to travel. Make the memories while you can, because tomorrow isn’t guaranteed.

Her ideal referral is younger travellers, particularly those aged 18–35, who may be planning their first overseas adventure. Whether it’s Europe, a Contiki tour, cruises or independent travel, Luky can help take the stress out of planning by organising flights, accommodation, transfers and the finer details that make a trip run smoothly.

Thanks, Luky, for reminding us that travel is creating experiences and memories that last a lifetime.

Luke Wigley – Specialist IT

This week we heard from Luke Wigley of Specialist IT, who spoke about one of the biggest technology risks facing businesses today – the rapid adoption of AI without the right security controls.

Luke explained that while tools like ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot and other AI platforms can dramatically improve productivity, many businesses are unknowingly exposing sensitive company information by giving AI unrestricted access to files, emails and business systems. In many cases, AI is being switched on in minutes, while properly securing permissions, access levels and governance can take weeks.

One example Luke shared highlighted how AI integrations can create new security risks if left unchecked, from exposing confidential financial information to processing invoices without the safeguards businesses expect. His message wasn’t to avoid AI, but to implement it thoughtfully, with the right permissions, business-grade accounts and human oversight.

Luke’s ideal referral is a business that’s about to implement Microsoft Copilot or other AI tools, or one where staff are already using AI to process company information without clear policies or controls. A short conversation before AI is rolled out can save businesses significant risk and headaches later.

Thanks, Luke, for a timely presentation and a reminder that when it comes to AI, security should come before convenience.
