Have you ever posted a carousel and immediately noticed the slides were in the wrong order?

Or spent ages trying to cram everything into one caption when different slides needed different context?

Or deleted and reposted just to change the music, and lost all your engagement in the process?

Instagram just fixed all of that.

Swipe through for what changed and exactly where to find each update.

Save this, you'll want it next time you're building a carousel.

Have you noticed the tag disappearing from your Facebook Group?

You're not imagining it, and a big thank you to Brittney Saunders for flagging this on her podcast. It's one of those platform changes that's easy to miss until it suddenly stops working for you.

Apparently Facebook has been restricting and rolling back the feature after widespread complaints from users who felt spammed by group admins using it excessively.

For business owners who used it to reach their entire group membership in one post, it was one of the most powerful engagement tools available. And now for many groups, it's simply gone.

Here's what you could do instead:

→ Post consistently so members see you organically in their feed
→ Use the Announce post feature to pin important posts to the top of the group
→ Tag specific members individually when relevant
→ Use Facebook's Member alerts feature if available in your group
→ Check your Admin tools for group notifications available to some group types

Platform features change constantly. The businesses that adapt quickly are the ones that stay ahead.

Have you noticed disappearing from your group?

You're using Klaviyo. You're running Meta ads. But are they actually talking to each other?

Most aren't. And it's one of the most common missed opportunities I see in ecommerce marketing.

When Klaviyo and Meta Ads are connected, your customer data, purchase history and email engagement all feed into your ad targeting. And your ads feed back into your email flows.

Someone abandons their cart? They get an email AND they see a retargeting ad. Two touchpoints. Same message. Significantly higher conversion rate.

Plus the automations that run in the background such as welcome flows, abandoned cart etc can generate revenue for you while you sleep.

If you're heading into Black Friday without this connected — swipe through. This one's worth knowing about.

LinkedIn just changed how comments are displayed and it’s worth understanding what this means for your strategy.

Comments used to show in chronological order. Newest first. Now they don't.

LinkedIn now ranks comments by relevance to each viewer, using signals like professional interests, connections and past engagement activity.

Why? Because 30% of LinkedIn comments between April and June 2026 were entirely AI-generated. LinkedIn analysed 57,000 public posts and confirmed the scale of the problem before making the change. They needed to surface real, useful comments over spam and AI noise.

Here’s what it means practically:

→ A generic “Great post!” comment is now worth almost nothing
→ A thoughtful, relevant comment gets pushed to the top of feeds
→ Comments now carry 15x the algorithmic weight of likes, a post with 10 real comments outperforms one with 500 likes

What to do right now:
→ Leave genuine, thoughtful comments on posts in your industry
→ Ask questions in your own posts that invite real responses
→ Reply to every comment you receive
→ Stop using AI to generate your comments

The comment section is where LinkedIn actually happens now. Show up there.

A potential customer just landed on your website. Here’s what they actually experience.

They arrive on your homepage. They have 3 seconds to decide if they’re in the right place.

First thing they see? Your headline. Does it clearly say what you do and who you do it for? Or does it say “Welcome”?

They scroll down. Are there reviews? Testimonials? Any proof you’re credible? Or does it just talk about you?

They want to get in touch. How many clicks does it take? If it’s more than one, you’re losing them.

And they’re probably on their phone. Does your site look right? Does it load in under 3 seconds?

This is what your potential customers experience every single day. And most business owners have no idea.

You don’t own your Instagram following. You don’t own your Facebook audience.

But your email list? That’s yours. Always.

The algorithm can change overnight and your reach disappears. Facebook can limit your links. A platform can go down. But nobody can take your email list from you.

And the numbers back it up, email marketing has an average ROI of $36 for every $1 spent. The average email open rate is 20–40%. Compare that to 3–10% organic reach on Instagram.

Your email list converts better, reaches more of your audience and costs less than almost any other marketing channel.

Most business owners have no idea how their website is actually performing. And it might be costing them more than they realise.

Here’s something worth knowing: your website speed directly affects two things.

How Google ranks you. And how many visitors stay long enough to enquire or buy.

A site that takes more than 3 seconds to load loses over half its visitors before they’ve read a single word. And Google knows it, slow sites are actively pushed down in search results.

The good news? You can check yours right now for free.

Go to pagespeed.web.dev → enter your URL → click Analyse.

Google scores your site from 0–100 on mobile and desktop and tells you exactly what’s slowing it down.

Here’s what the scores mean:
🟢 90–100 — Excellent
🟡 50–89 — Needs improvement
🔴 0–49 — Poor — actively hurting your rankings

Check your mobile score first. Over 60% of web traffic is on mobile.

If your score is low, the most common culprits are oversized images, too many plugins, slow hosting and no caching.
