gan to explore 'why'? I now focus my work around 7 areas, that I call Reflections' to discover what is holding people back. We are unique as individuals and one size does not fit all, this work is personal and very rewarding for the client and myself. In my opinion our beliefs are 'given' to us through life, we pick them up from listening to and observing our parents and siblings, learning from our teachers and having most of the information re-enforced through the media and society generally. By the time we are ready to head into the big wide world we have 'become' a certain type of person and the majority of people live out the rest of their days as that person - and there is nothing wrong with that at all. However for those people who occasionally or frequently feel like they don't quite fit in, or feel they should be doing something else - you are probably right. This is the first stage of realising the person you are living as is not the authentic you! Often some of these people have stepped out of the 'norm' and decided to start their own business, sometimes against the views of family and friends, but somewhere inside they have a knowing that this is what they are meant to be doing. Believe in Your Business has seen many people take this courageous leap and helped put strategies in place for their business to grow and develop, but all too often they hit a 'wall', a point where they feel alone, unsure of their decisions and often feel distanced from their family and friends. There's only a couple of things I miss about the UK, one of them is a 'cold' Christmas when its dark at 4.30, the threat of snow or at least sleet in the air, the shops and houses brightly lit with Christmas lights. Christmas in July is as close as it gets!
