Another baltic pine restoration completed today in millswood. This one was a small job in size but still required alot of effort to het right.
Removel of old carpet, repair 4 old access hatches and stain wenge colour. Quite the nice colour on baltic, finished with a matt sheen finish👌

Last job of the week, this was a bit of an interesting 1, I installed this floor just over a year ago and never got the call back to finish it after the kitchen install. So a few weeks ago the client called panicking saying he hired a cheaper guy to do the sanding and polishing (can fully understand trying to save a dollar) but when the guy left drum marks, edger marks, chatter marks everywhere and dust all in the finish it definitely wasnt the best decision. Now I never claim to be the most expensive in town nor the cheapest and I never will be the cheapest and thats for a reason. You get a quality floor sanded to a high standard.
This one got urethane coatings HS45 gloss solvent based.

Finished up this 26m2 7 finger block mosaic brushbox parquetry.
On small jobs like this the powerdrive is perfect for. Completely sanded and 3 coats of finish in 1.5 days allowing the owner full use in 3 day.
Sealer with blanchon S O Alcohol Sealer to bring out the beautiful brushbox tones
Top coats with synteko Nova best 90 2k for a traditional gloss finish

A mix of Brushbox and jarrah floor on this one, Brushbox was installed about 10 years ago and never sanded. This client was gonna cover to whole floor with laminate, glad he changed his mind, how good this natural timber come up👌 a few days of sanding and you get a brand new floor.
Finished with blanchon S O sealer
Top coated with 2 coats of Synteko Nova best matt sheen 2k

Another beautiful jarrah floor restored, this young couple just bought this house and removed the carpets and wanted to restore the 2 bedrooms, and instead of sanding all the floors again they opted to sand the width of the doorway to the nearest wall to avoid any sanding line. Thankfully this worked out a treat and the entire floor then was buffed back and got a final coat to ensure a consistent sheen throughout, using nova best 20 matt sheen for a long lasting durable finish
