Big shout out to these two legends!! My shoulders are sore just watching them longboard the big 42fter this week!! It’s been a hot week and the boys have smashed it!! Topcoat next week, but what colour are we painting??? 🤔😁 it’s a secret 🤫

We are back from our Christmas break and straight into it! We hope everyone had an enjoyable and safe holidays! We’ve got some very exciting projects for this year, stay tuned! This is just a little teaser, deep cutting some gorgeous Huon pine for our latest Phoenix 15 build, these boats are getting a lot of interest in both kits and complete builds. Email us for details! What better way to wrap up the year than with another handover! This clinker speedboat has had a full restoration over a number of years. We’re very happy with how she’s come up!! Brazilian Mahogany deck looks gorgeous in the sun 👌👌 From the team at DFWB, we’d like to thank all of our amazing customers and wish you all a very merry Christmas. The shop is now closed and will be open on the 6th. Now to enjoy some time off with the family!! 🍻

From little things big things grow!! It’s the end of an era for Peter and Margaret but the start of their new journey! We met them back in our 2014 boat school with the build of their Nutshell pram, the tender for the next boat. They’ve been working solidly together, building this boat with our assistance over the last 8 years. The day has finally arrived and they’re heading down to Tassie to live, with the big grey Selkie not far behind. We wish both Pete and Margaret the very best with their ventures, they really have been part of the DFWB family over the last 10 years. I sure am looking forward to heading down to Hobart for the big launch day!!

It is with deep sadness that I share the news that our latest DFWB family member, Freeman, has passed away 23/8/24. Freeman and his wife Yvonne had only just picked up their new boat, ‘Pickle’ last month. It was an absolute joy to work with and build the boat for Freeman.

I would like to send our condolences to the entire Puckridge family in this difficult time.

Rest in peace Freeman.

Happy days!!!! We love it when we get to hand over a new boat to our clients!! This one’s a Phoenix 15, designed by .lillistone . One of many we’ve built over the years. Freeman and Yvonne have been making the trek from Pt Lincoln for a while now to see progress and make subtle changes along the way, customising this already beautiful design. Mahogany decks with Hoop Pine trimmings, hollow birdsmouth mast and bronze fittings finish her off nicely. Happy sailing Freeman!!

Big day as Jeremy finally took delivery of his brand new 23ft Redwing. We had some hold ups along the way but we’re very happy with the end result. Working along side .lillistone for all ABP requirements was, as always a pleasure. Looking forward to seeing her out on the water!! Onto the next one!

It is with a heavy heart that I have to announce the passing of my father, Paul Arthur Michael Reece. 19/11/1947 - 17/08/23 aged 75yrs. He always loved to drop by the shop and see what was going on, a passion for being on the water. He will be dearly missed by many.
