As always we love the support we’ve been given for the Wok the duck petitions. We thank each and every one of you that has supported this great cause, you’re all amazing😍🥰

However, we’d like to take a moment to reflect on the bigger picture, for anyone that thinks this is about one restaurant, it’s not….
It is much bigger than that.

It is about the little people, the battlers, those of us that make up the majority of society working so hard doing the little things that make local community’s great.
We do this with passion so we can own our little place in this world that we are proud off, this is our life - the beneficiary is certainly not the small business owner - it’s the local community.

This is a question about whether a bigger corporate and/or governing body has the right to take someone’s special space without consultation, without consideration, simply by saying “we believe it’s for the greater good”.

Let’s be clear, everyone supporting this, also supports the need for a new school.

This is not a case of ‘restaurant or school’ this is a question about weather those with power and control should be able recklessly walk over anyone they think is in their way, without consideration to those little people who form the heartbeat of the community, the hard workers.

If it can happen to them, it can happen to us.

For those that haven’t yet, please make the effort to come in and sign the petition as we need over 10K signatures to push this to the next level.

Love progress and love the school.

Unfortunatly we’ve had half our team down this week and the campaign must go on to reach 10,000 signatures.
