Yahoo is connected to your iPhone without a saved password because

the device uses a secure, authorized token rather than a stored password, or because the credentials are securely stored within Apple's system-level Keychain rather than a visible browser password list.

Here is how this works:

OAuth Authorization Tokens: When you set up Yahoo Mail using the "Yahoo" option in iPhone settings (rather than "Other"), iOS uses OAuth. Instead of storing your password, Yahoo provides your iPhone with a secure, long-lived token that acts as a digital key.

If you did not delete the account, this key remains valid.

iCloud Keychain: Even if you don't see the password in Safari's "Auto-Fill" list, it may be securely encrypted in your Apple iCloud Keychain. Keychain saves logins from app sign-ins and authorized web sessions, allowing them to reconnect automatically.

Persistent Active Session: If you once logged into Yahoo via the Mail app and authorized the device, Yahoo may keep that session active, requiring no password until a security event forces a logout.

App Passwords (Two-Step Verification): If you use two-step verification on Yahoo, your iPhone might be using a specific "App Password"—a long, one-time code generated to authorize that specific device
