Must have-

Driver’s license (work car and fuel card provided)
Experience in the trade industry, including labourers
Self motivated and willing to work as part of a team

2026- off to a flying start 🏠

One of our biggest projects for the year will be these 2 new homes- side by side. Steve and crew will be involved in the concreting (include polished concrete prep 😍) brick and stone work, tiling plus so much more.

Can’t wait to see this project come to life!

Shout out to all of the volunteers! 💛❤️

So many members of our community donate their time and resources to help out. Pictured here is Steve and his mate Garry who both volunteer for the Yahl CFS. Steve has been a member for many years and drops everything when he can to help with a call out- often in the middle of the night!

On top of our business, Airbnb and cattle, he also is a member of our kids school governing council and has about 500 different hobbies 😉 Where does he find the time you say? He makes the time, just like so many other people in the community.

Hello 👋 to all of our new followers- there has been an influx of you these past few months!

Also thank you to everyone who has reached out via message/email recently. We have been absolutely inundated with new enquiries and we know that it can be frustrating when businesses don’t respond instantly but this time of year is sooo crazy already and even thinking about new projects is beyond us at the moment 🤪

In a previous post we mentioned that come January there will be a new way of getting in contact with us because we receive enquiries across all social media platforms plus email and phone- it’s so hard to keep track. Everyone who has reached out recently has been put on a list to contact when we are back to work at the end of January 2026. Please be patient with us as next year is already filling up but we will still check to see if you are keen to proceed with your project.

Thank you to all of our clients in 2025 ☺️ We celebrated 11 years as Home and Living Co this year but 15 years for Steve and 13 years for Carly in business! Thank you also to every guest who stayed at Lar Doce Lar Holiday House this year- we recently welcomed our 150th group of guests 🎉

Lastly a big thank you to our team, we literally couldn’t do any of this without you. From Lisa and Kathy our admins, to Jo our cleaner and our construction team/contractors- you guys are the best! 2026 is already shaping up to be our biggest year yet and something we’ve been working really hard for behind the scenes these past 2 years will hopefully be announced soon- stay tuned 👀
