We are looking for a friendly and reliable Administration & Onboarding Officer to join our Mount Isa-based team! 🙌
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, working with people, and being part of a supportive team. You’ll play an important role in making sure our employees, vehicles, and equipment are compliant, organised, and ready for site. 🚗⛏️
🔧 About the Role
Your day-to-day tasks will include:
✅ Onboarding new employees
✅ Keeping new and current employees’ site-specific training up to date
✅ Ensuring site compliance and onboarding of vehicles and equipment to various mine sites
✅ Facilitating flights and accommodation requirements for FIFO employees
✅ Booking and organising pre-employment medicals
✅ Coordinating site and offsite training
✅ Organising uniforms for employees
✅ Completing detailed training and onboarding schedules for new employees
✅ Assisting with general administration duties
✅ Supporting the Manager and Director with administration tasks as required
👀 About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
✨ A current driver’s licence
✨ Strong organisational skills and great attention to detail
✨ A positive, can-do attitude
✨ Good communication skills
✨ The ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
✨ A willingness to learn, contribute, and grow with the business
Previous experience in a similar administration, onboarding, training, or compliance role would be highly regarded, but is not essential.
Experience using Xero and Simpro would also be desirable. 💻

💰 $50 – $65 Per Hour – Tradesman + Operators
💰 Handheld Miner Rates Depending on Experience
📅 Monday to Friday Roster with some Weekend/Shutdown Works
