Due to the abundance of rain, the desert in central and far North Queensland is the greenest we have ever seen it. The abundance of trees, shrubs and native grasses are truly spectacular. We were lucky enough to complete a sonar inspection of a dam in Cloncurry, about an hour away from Mt Isa, and couldn't resist the opportunity to put the drone up and capture the spectacular scenery! Makes the 1850km drive out there well worthwhile!

Hello everyone, we have decided reluctantly to sell our Seamor Steelhead ROV. We have been piloting Seamor ROV’s for over 12 years and they have proven to be almost bulletproof with their design and rugged capabilities.
The steelhead we have is only a few years old, and only has approximately 50 hours of flight time on it. It is fully functional with no issues at all, however due to the majority of work we are completing these days being onshore in elevated tanks and towers, we are tending to use smaller, lighter ROVs in our day to day operation.
Thats not to say the Steelhead is heavy - its only just over 22kg in total, but when you have to lift the ROV 15-30m to the top of tanks, at my age you feel every meter!!
New the Steelheads are approx USD$50k, however im happy to discuss pricing and work out something mutually beneficial.

This is some raw, real time, hi-res scanning sonar imagery we collected in zero visibility on a bridge on the eastern coast of Australia. The scan is taken upstream and is imaging from bank to bank (ie transversely across the river. You can clearly see the spalling in the concrete as well as the significant scour around the pile compared to the rest of the river bed.
