Ben Webb's nine-year-old system was due for an upgrade. We doubled it to 25kW on the same roof space and added a 40kWh battery. Now, instead of sending excess solar back to the grid, the business stores more of it and uses it into the evening.

Big effort deserves a proper break.

After two solid months of long days and late finishes installing some of the largest battery systems we’ve taken on, the Talk Energy crew hit pause this Friday (May 1).

The government might be winding back battery incentives… but we’ve gone the other way and lifted ours for the team that’s been delivering day in, day out.

We swapped rooftops for race tracks with a few laps of go karting, then rolled into The Rowing Pavilion for some well earned food and beverages.

Proud of this team. The work ethic, the standards, and the consistency don’t go unnoticed.

This drone footage shows just how extreme this install was — the kind of job many companies won’t even quote. In fact, Aldo struggled to find someone willing to take it on, and the one company that did show up ended up cancelling the job on the day after realising they couldn’t do what they promised.
