Celebrating a Safe Winter at Talk Energy ☀️

As winter wraps up and we head into spring, the Talk Energy team got together at Third Wave in Applecross to celebrate a casualty-free winter with some seriously large BBQ platters. 🍖

As our team continues to expand, safety remains one of our biggest priorities. More people, more projects and more installations means an even greater focus on making sure everyone gets home safe every day.

Big effort deserves a proper break.

After two solid months of long days and late finishes installing some of the largest battery systems we’ve taken on, the Talk Energy crew hit pause this Friday (May 1).

The government might be winding back battery incentives… but we’ve gone the other way and lifted ours for the team that’s been delivering day in, day out.

We swapped rooftops for race tracks with a few laps of go karting, then rolled into The Rowing Pavilion for some well earned food and beverages.

Proud of this team. The work ethic, the standards, and the consistency don’t go unnoticed.

When the roof gets steeper, the excuses get louder… but not at Talk Energy. ⚡️

This drone footage shows just how extreme this install was — the kind of job many companies won’t even quote. In fact, Aldo struggled to find someone willing to take it on, and the one company that did show up ended up cancelling the job on the day after realising they couldn’t do what they promised.

For our crew, this is exactly where experience matters.

While posts like this highlight the capability of our team to deliver installs on some of the toughest roofs in WA, the real reason we do it is simple: we want everyday West Aussies to have access to solar that empowers them to power their homes.
