Moorefield Plant Repairs is a family owned and operated business in the Hunter Valley that provides mechanical and electrical maintenance and repair service to local mining and earthmoving equipment industries.
We will be employing an Apprentice Plant Mechanic for our workshops located at Mount Thorley .

Skills and Knowledge:
Year 10 School Certificate or
Year 11/12 Higher School Certificate

Applicants should also have:
• Good Mechanical Aptitude and practical problem solving skills.
• A genuine interest in this trade.
• Willingness and dedication to undertaking further education at TAFE.
• Desire to learn, take direction and follow processes.
• Ability to be thorough with attention to detail.
• Ability to work within a team environment.
• Drivers/Provisional License would be an advantage.

🛠Nellie’s 19th🩷
On Wednesday we had the privilege to celebrate Nellie’s birthday with her family. An overwhelming day of emotions for all, but comforting knowing that Nellie’s two families came together to form such a strong connection in forever remembering such a wonderful young lady.
We would like to thank Endless Engraving for your assistance in designing the plaque and printing, and a big thank you to Pete and the team at Mallaby Sheetmetal for your generosity with “Nellies Bay” sign.

A big thank you to everyone for the love and support to our team and Nellie's family over this tough past week. Throughout the week Nellie's toolbox has ben growing with items that make us think of her. A massive shoutout to Shaun from Snap-on Tools Hunter Valley whom has not only checked in on our team, but also very generously added a pink screwdriver set to Nellie's collection. I'm sure Nellie would have a big grin on her face now. We are forever grateful for your generosity and kindness Shaun.

Unfortunately in the past week we have lost our dear Nellie. Nellie was our 2nd year apprentice mechanic. Although she had such short time with us, she will be forever in our hearts.
Our thoughts and love are with her family during this tough time.
We appreciate everyone's cooperation while our MPR family grieve and celebrate Nellie's life.

🛠TED🛠

MPR recently purchased TED, it has been used around the workshop for various jobs already. Yesterday we were able to take TED out to site for the first time, we are pleased that our employees now have this machine to make jobs easier and safer.
