"By now, you’ve likely seen the news that zin food + w**e house will be closing at the end of the year. This was a bittersweet decision for Kim and I, but Zin has achieved everything and more than we could ever have imagined, so it feels like the right time.
Kim launched Zin at Easter in 2014, with the vision to authentically serve up a dining experience that highlighted the abundant produce from the farm here at Tinja. Throughout the past 12 years, the many people involved continued to live and breathe this ethos, and from Kim and I, we thank the teams for all they've done for Zin throughout its tenure.
While Zin will be wrapping up on December 21, it’s business as usual everywhere else here at Lowe. The Cellar Door and Food Store remain open daily, Weddings & Events are still happening (with some great new ones about to start selling tickets, so watch this space), and Althea by Zin will carry on the Zin legacy in all it’s artisanal glory.
To end on, Kim and I wanted to thank all those that have reached out, emailed, called and commented such kind words of support. Hearing all your stories and fond memories has made this announcement a one of great pride, so thank you."
