We are closed for the year doing renovations and extensions. Considering the weather it a very good thing.
We are progressing well with the 8th lagoon which will be below the previous bottom lagoon. Already established trees surround it and it will be an instant forest lagoon once all the work is done. Looking great so far. Huge rocks and it will have a 1500mm waterfall flowing from under the bridge.
We will open mid October 2020.

New vintage in progress... winery dogs and their dad pillaging the Shiraz must!!!! Colour is beautiful and had a great day picking last weekend! Back in the shed by about 7.30 for brekkie! Best grapes we’ve ever had.... drought good for something!

Getting to Harvest Festival at Hilldale.
The new vineyards are progressing well and excited by new varietals to improve blending and still be a true Estate Wine

650 new vines. Weather for grapes been superb

Baume rising and the quality of grapes and vines is our best ever. The vigneron and assistants feeling this will be our best vintage.

Pilif on another research trip for gardens. Kandy Botanical Gardens Sri Lanka are incredible. He thinks heavy competition as they started in 1735, meters of rain ,165 acres, 1000 staff and a few monks. The mature trees are astounding. One of best gardens in world
