A great local customer had one of these Specialised Stainless Lifting Jig’s that needed duplicating due to their work demand.

🔸316 Angle, Flat and 16mm Bar
🔸M16x2 screw cut threads
🔸Stainless Bar mandrel bent after machining
🔸Fully tig Welded
🔸 Jig was then sent for Compliance testing
🔸 Approved for 250kg SWL Capacity

Some Fabrication services completed on this Submarine Buoyancy Cable Drum.

Originally lined with gal mesh that was leaving impressions on millions $$ worth of oil filled cable

✅ Mesh removed
✅ Alloy cleaned and prepped for welding
✅ Perforated alloy sheet cut to size
✅ Plug welded to alloy bar work
✅ Cable entry ports cut in
✅ Alloy round bar bent and welded to shape
✅ Tigged in place to provide a radius edge
✅ Welds and Edges deburred

➖ Drilled to roughing size
➖ Bored to 0.02mm oversize
➖ Edges chamfered
➖ Keyways Broached to fit 8mm Key
➖ Grubscrew hole Drilled and Tapped
➖ Assembled with Antiseize
