SilVR Adventures' purpose is to improve the lives of older adults. Our mission is to tackle isolation and loneliness among older adults and help to significantly drive social engagement through meaningful, shared experiences in virtual reality. Our vision is a world without barriers for our elders, where their needs are not only met but exceeded using VR.

This week is Dementia Action Week, and the theme says it plainly: it's time to talk about dementia.

More than 400,000 Australians are living with dementia right now. And yet, too often, the conversations around it are delayed, avoided, or left to a crisis moment.

We are excited to announce that SilVR Adventures is named a two-time finalist with our partners at the 2026 Future of Ageing Awards 🎉

1️⃣ Technology: Consumers
Medical and Aged Care Group has onboarded all of its homes onto SilVR Pathways, creating a consistent approach to personalised engagement across the organisation — with visibility, consistency and evidence of engagement at every site.

2️⃣ Finalist, Health & Wellbeing
Fronditha Care, recognised for Cultural Journeys. The ability to offer Greek-language experiences and culturally relevant content matters deeply to their residents. SilVR now supports content across 40+ languages, helping providers engage residents from CALD communities through language, culture, memory and identity.
