What a fantastic morning at BizNet Business Network.

A huge thank you to Brad from IT Basecamp for delivering such an engaging and entertaining presentation for our members today.

Brad had the whole room involved with his interactive “WTF Quiz”, where the challenge was trying to guess exactly what IT task or service he was completing each time. Safe to say, Brad definitely kept us all guessing and laughing throughout the session.

After multiple rounds of confusion, debate, and absolutely no idea what was happening on the screen most of the time, the group unanimously agreed on one thing — it is best to leave the IT business to Brad and the team at IT Basecamp. IT services are clearly not our forte.

Beyond the laughs, Brad also shared some valuable insights into the important work IT Basecamp provides for businesses throughout the Shoalhaven, helping organisations stay connected, protected, and operating efficiently in an increasingly digital world.

This week at BizNet Shoalhaven, we had the pleasure of hearing from Shellyce and learning more about the power of strong, original, and personalised branding in today’s business world.

With years of experience working behind the scenes in graphic design for local businesses across the Shoalhaven, Shellyce shared valuable insights into the importance of creating brands that stand out and genuinely connect with customers.

From print media and animated content through to signage, vehicle wraps, and visual branding, today’s presentation highlighted how quality design plays a major role in business recognition and growth.

One of the key takeaways from today was the importance of originality. In a world flooded with content, personalised and authentic branding matters more than ever.

What a fantastic morning at the BizNet Shoalhaven Business Network breakfast meeting.

A big thank you to Daisy from Financial Dynamics for delivering an informative and practical breakdown of the 2026 Federal Budget and EOFY planning strategies for local businesses and individuals.

Some of the key topics covered included:

• Education and self development related deductions
• Negative gearing updates and discussions
• Capital gains tax and indexation changes
• EOFY tax planning strategies before 30 June
• Payday super changes coming into effect
• Instant asset write off opportunities for eligible business purchases under $20,000

These mornings are such a valuable reminder that strong business communities are built through collaboration, shared knowledge, and supporting one another with real-world insights that help local businesses grow stronger and smarter.

Another valuable morning connecting with local businesses at our BizNet Shoalhaven breakfast meeting.

Great conversations, local collaboration, fresh ideas, and of course… another seriously good breakfast. 🍳☕️

One thing we’re continually seeing through the BizNet community is that strong business networks are built through genuine relationships, collaboration, and supporting each other’s growth across the Shoalhaven region.
