Metal Fabricator – Murray Bridge, SA
About the Role: Daishsat is seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our team in Murray Bridge, SA. In this full-time position, you’ll play a key role in the fabrication, assembly, and installation of a wide range of metal products and structures that support our field operations. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a well-established and respected company in the mining services industry.
Key Responsibilities: • Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to fabricate and assemble metal components. • Operate a variety of metalworking tools and equipment — including MIG and TIG welders, plasma cutters, folders, and guillotines. • Fabricate, assemble, and modify components using aluminium, mild steel, stainless steel, and galvanised steel. • Conduct quality checks to ensure all work meets required standards and specifications. • Maintain a safe, clean, and organised workspace in compliance with safety procedures. • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and timely project completion.
About You: • Minimum 5 years’ experience in metal fabrication. • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Proficient in MIG and TIG welding of mild steel, aluminium, and stainless steel to a high standard. • Strong ability to interpret and work from technical drawings. • Confident using metal fabrication equipment, including plasma cutters, folders, and guillotines. • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach. • Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality standards. • Experience with SolidWorks or similar CAD software will be highly regarded.
